same. I get demotivated from time to time I see her stuff it makes me want to sew. I can't even say how many times I've started watching her video and then started my own project because she's making something.anyway all the love Kira you're always so pretty.
dude for REAL. I've always enjoyed her makeup looks, but damn, yeah, we /do/ need to trust the process lol. I can't even say anything about the paint bc years ago before I finally got white liner, I was practicing drag eyes and putting white acrylic paint entirely too close to my eyes- like, it definitely got in there a few times 😬
10:29 in case you could be bothered, you can add something called a balayeuse to your train which is meant to keep the actual fabric of your garment clean. You can just take it off and wash it separately after wearing it in a dirty environment.
I get demotivated from time to time I see her stuff it makes me want to sew. I can't even say how many times I've started watching her video and then started my own project because she's making something.anyway all the love Kira you're always so pretty.
your eyes are definitely just more downturned on the outside corners rather than hooded (you have TONS of eyelid space omg i am jealous) but this entire costume and makeup look turned out AMAZING!!!!!!!!
I think because you've been growing your sewing skills it becomes easier to go a little unhinged and it still turn out pretty well. This look was great and I loved all the looks from this year!
Fabric puffy paint and then a shimmery embroidery floss over it is nice for icy effect with dimension. I did a jack frost cosplay and did that on the jacket
I love this design so much! I've fone the icicles crown trick recently too for a dnd oc tiktok and i was so pleased with it. Now I'm wishing i added icicle ornament to mine because yours looks amazing!
I like the colour choices! The cloak is so simple but so luxurious.❄Also, I love that moment when a sleeping cat puts their little paw over their little face.
Kira: uploads video on New Year's Eve. Also Kira: says there's one more video this year that'll be uploaded closer to New Year's. I went to college in Pittsburgh! (Point Park College , now Point Park University.) This video is pretty! ❄❄❄
"Snow is the only redeeming quality of cold weather and it literally never snows here!" I feel this. I moved from Missouri to central Texas as a kid and I'm sadly still here. I get so excited when I'm visiting Missouri and there's snow!
...I think I may need to make myself a similar cloak. The swoosh and melodrama is just *chefs kiss* the glittery touches make the whole ensemble really pop!!! love this look
Heading into the new year, I just wanted to express my gratitude to you Kira. The crafts and sprinkles of chaos always give me the dopamine boost my brain is so severely lacking, and your projects give me a creative outlet even when I don’t have the resources, times, or energy to make something of my own. And also I love your art style. Thank you so much for the videos, they make my personal RUclips corner much more cozy and interesting every time you post. HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎆 💜
The giant TV with the zoomed in fireplace is giving house fire more than cozy fireplace, lol, but I feel like that works with the channel's theme anyway.
Been watching this over the last three days with breakfast, and I absolutley love it, it's so pretty!!! The decorations really made everthing come together, I'm always so amazed at your eye for that sort of thing!!!
❄❄❄The fit looks fabulous! Love a good swishy cape❄❄❄ (and for a completely non dress related comment. Tiger looks so much like a kitty I had when I was a teenager, and seeing her curled up like that, with her widdle paw over her face. My heart! It was so full.)
If you want suggestions for great makeup, I super suggest Concrete Minerals. Leaping bunny certified, super pigmented. They've even got duochromes. Also thanks for the tip for liner, I always have trouble with liner. ❄
Okay, you have convinced me -- I need to finally make that cape project I have been putting off... (And as a fellow Pittsburgher, I absolutely agree that the snow is worth the crazy temperatures!)
I've been demotivated with sewing for a bit now, but while watching this I got inspired and designed a cloak pattern that has fitted shoulders and has almost no fabric waste. Tested it on paper and it works in theory, super excited to try it out. Thanks for the general inspiration and excitement :D
I really loved the make up with me session! I've always wondered what your process was and I'd love to see more of that for every costume you create!! ❤❤
Recently cut myself an eyebrow slit in the same place the other day, also not because of Vi, but because of Ellie Williams and got jump scared by the call out. Loved this vid and the corset esp turned out so cute!!
I absolutely need to try out your eyeliner strategy, I still haven't figured out a way that works for my hooded lids🥲 & that corset turned out gorgeous!❄💙
I was so confused when you said you'd have another video coming out this year, it's currently 23u42 on the 31st. Then I realised I'm in another continent 😅
35:20 A weird little """makeup""" hack I learned a few years ago is if you soak Crayola colored pencils in warm/hot water, they get soft enough to use on your skin like an eyeliner pencils and the color is very pigmented and don't stain! It's a fantastic way to get a lot of really bright eyeliner/detailed facepaints effects in a pinch and super cheap, easy, and safely.* *I have very light skin and I learned it from someone more tan, but I can't speak to how effective it is with dark(er) skintones. The pencils are listed as "non-toxic" but always be aware that those labels on products are normally for *intended use*, however these are designed with the knowledge that little children can be chewing/eating them so they should be relatively skin-safe. but do your own research if it's a concern to you personally. :)
I really feel the indecition about how to cut the cloak. In my own projekts there is always at least one point where i am unshure how to proceed. And then i procrastinate and think way to much about it! The finnished look is stunning! I really feel like the details and decoration pull the look together and make it special! Also I am really exitet to see the cloak with the porcelain corsett!
Another banger video, especially for chilling on the first day of the year. This inspires me so much for like a fae- ice queen character from the Feywild (like a female prince of frost, if you’re familiar) this was absolutely fantastic!
I’m in Kansas. Our whole state got dumped on. There’s 14” of snow in my yard. Up to two feet deep in some places. And we’re apparently getting more. You’d look amazing in your snow queen costume here, but it’s so flippin’ cold you’d probably rather not.
You absolutely dodged looking like Elsa - your winter queen seems notably cooler and aloof in a very satisfying way. Tremendous work! Good luck in your 2025! Thanks for making our 2024 that much better. 💙
Your chainmail video inspired me to make a coif, which I've been wanting for a long time! It was definitely a lot easier than it would've been, because I'd already seen you do it. (It's not *exactly* finished yet, I accidentally ordered the wrong size rings after I ran out 😅- So I'm making gloves next!) Your corset turned out amazing! I always love your videos, they're so much fun and always make me smile ❤
Fabulous! I think the sleeves are my favorite part. Something about the unexpected combination of glitter glue and stretch velvet coming out so well is really delightful to me.
You rock, as perusual. Can't wait until next year to see you do more awesomeness. As a side note, and not that you asked, but I REALLY loved all your Bob Ross upgrade videos. Your brother makes it even more entertaining. But your artistic addons would wow Mr. Ross and his happy trees. Look forward to the next one ;)
Not frozen you say? Yet you have the elsa braid going on during the boning of the corset lol 🤣 It turned out beautiful and I'm getting a mix between chronicles of Narnia and frozen ice queens for sure. Love how the glitter on the arms came out
I would suggest going with less saturated colors for an ice or winter vibe. As much as I ADORE vibrant colors, they just don’t quite lend themselves well to an icy vibe. A deep rich blue like your crushed velvet is PERFECT for an ocean, and will go AMAZING with your blue porcelain armor, it’s not great for an ice and snow vibe
Woaw video, you're really pretty ❄! Seriously tho, the cloak is exactly my favourite color and the corset is shiny and beautifuuul !! Also, i liked seeing the make up process, its nice
❄️. Happy New Year to everyone. Love the costume, never ceases to amaze me how you just seem to grab stuff and sew and glue it into an amazing costume, looking forward to being amazed in 2025. ❤
I was hesitant about the idea of all the icicles, but they turned out so pretty! So I have a thought about adding to the voluminousness of the skirt/hip layers - what about using one - or both - of those white floaty nightgown/jackety/coaty things you made in your whimsygoth scrapbusting video, and use the top parts to fill the hip area, then have the blue skirt over top hiked like you had it so it's like layers and layers of skirt underneath the corset? I'm not sure how practical that would be unless you managed to rig some sort of hip pouches, but it might help up the Drama so the outfit matches the cloak a bit more.
Just painting "happy little freeze" 😂The Bob Ross of makeup looks. But truly a beautiful outfit, a masterwork of editing and the baby with her paws on her faaaaace ❤
This was amazing! It looks incredible as always Kira :) Im sure a few people might start yelling about you putting acrylic paint on your face, so I’ll just say, (as a part-time sfx makeup artist), that I find mehron water-activated paradise paints work well for small paint jobs, like the one you did in this video. I hope this doesn’t come across as weird or over-reaching! It’s just meant as a kind suggestion, I know from experience that acrylic paint is not something you want on your face or near your eyes!

I love the 'fuck around and find out' energy of this channel. It really makes me feel less pressure when I'm sewing my own stuff.
absolutely............a breath of fresh air.
Same!
Agreed ❄️
I cant express how much i love this channel, found it one random evening and everytime she post it genuinely makes me excited, thanks kira😌
same. I get demotivated from time to time I see her stuff it makes me want to sew. I can't even say how many times I've started watching her video and then started my own project because she's making something.anyway all the love Kira you're always so pretty.
I found her randomly too, when all my usual sewing channels hadn't posted. Yay for random clicking.
Totally understand same
As a makeup artist I think I now understand how professional seamstresses feel watching your content 😂
You feel overwhelming joy watching someone genuinely enjoying the craft
@bagel_guy9495 oh Ive always loved the videos it's more the "you're doing so many things the wrong way and it somehow looks excellent"
I felt the same when she was pumpkin carving. But the end results were so good! She is such a quick learner!
Me, cringing when she put acrylic paint on her face...
dude for REAL.
I know most people will instantly think Elsa, but for me, it's giving such glam bombshell Snow Miser/Jack Frost and I'm obsessed ❄️❄️❄️
That was my thought, too!
10:29 in case you could be bothered, you can add something called a balayeuse to your train which is meant to keep the actual fabric of your garment clean. You can just take it off and wash it separately after wearing it in a dirty environment.

I love love love watching her videos when doing my own projects. Especially embroidery since I can sort of watch at the same time
Opening shot of you in the woods is so perfect ngl looks like it should be in some cool goth movie
I don't think the half sleeves are overused it's part of your ✨️ S T Y L E ✨️
your eyes are definitely just more downturned on the outside corners rather than hooded (you have TONS of eyelid space omg i am jealous) but this entire costume and makeup look turned out AMAZING!!!!!!!!
The jumping spider picture made me laugh so hard cause I knew you were gonna say something about it being a web lol
I almost couldnt believe it when i saw the runtime, I absolutely LOVEEEEEE the longer videos so this is a new years eve treat if ever i saw one :)
I think because you've been growing your sewing skills it becomes easier to go a little unhinged and it still turn out pretty well. This look was great and I loved all the looks from this year!
Ok, so the chainmail over the top of the corset is also I really awesome look!🥶❄❄❄
Seriously!! It adds even more vibes of the ice queen from Narnia, especially closer to the final battle lol
The chaos was mmm👌top tier 😌
Can i just say, i love the editing of this video in particular. It felt a little different than normal, very funny and dynamic 10/10
33:47 AHH the second you put highlighter on your inner eye i was like Arcane? and then you showed Vi 😭😭😭
Fabric puffy paint and then a shimmery embroidery floss over it is nice for icy effect with dimension. I did a jack frost cosplay and did that on the jacket
29:11 Literally who I thought of when you mentioned people comparing this to Elsa!
I love this design so much! I've fone the icicles crown trick recently too for a dnd oc tiktok and i was so pleased with it. Now I'm wishing i added icicle ornament to mine because yours looks amazing!
You don't have to duplicate the snowflake on the other sleeve! Remember no two snowflakes are alike! ❄️
I like the colour choices! The cloak is so simple but so luxurious.❄Also, I love that moment when a sleeping cat puts their little paw over their little face.
Girl I just use a hand-press thing for my grommets. It was like $5 on Amazon and is 1000% easier than using a hammer
5:33 I loved this entire sequence it’s so funny and the editing is great
Kira: uploads video on New Year's Eve.
Also Kira: says there's one more video this year that'll be uploaded closer to New Year's.
I went to college in Pittsburgh! (Point Park College , now Point Park University.)
This video is pretty!
❄❄❄
❄⛄ Great project to round out the year. I look forward to seeing what you come up with in 2025!
"Snow is the only redeeming quality of cold weather and it literally never snows here!" I feel this. I moved from Missouri to central Texas as a kid and I'm sadly still here. I get so excited when I'm visiting Missouri and there's snow!

Watching your videos makes me feel like these kinds of project are more approachable than I think. Ur an enabler
oh, i'm so excited! i missed your videos, kira! happy new year

Everything turned out so pretty, that corset is beautiful. 🌨❄❄☃
Very nice.❄❄ I agree with you that the skirt looks better down. You could always add a drape skirt later that goes over the skirt.❄❄
Been watching this over the last three days with breakfast, and I absolutley love it, it's so pretty!!! The decorations really made everthing come together, I'm always so amazed at your eye for that sort of thing!!!
I loved the color scheme! It’s giving me more Snow-miser vibes from the old stop motion movies!

Frosty, icy anything is my jam! Love how this fit came together so perfectly! ❄
❄❄❄As a Canadian currently living in Australia and badly missing the snow and ice, thank you so much for the vibes!!! ❄❄❄
This turned out BEAUTIFULLY! i also really enjoyed you sharing your makeup process, too
Okay, you have convinced me -- I need to finally make that cape project I have been putting off... (And as a fellow Pittsburgher, I absolutely agree that the snow is worth the crazy temperatures!)

Excellent content. The snowflake ornaments were a GENIUS idea and they looked SO GOOD on the final garment!

Frosty and FANTASTIC! I always love your videos and you're so COOL! ❄️✨️🩵

STUNNING! Giving true Snow Queen realness😍❄️
The corset turned out magnificent! I also love the fabrics you used, looks expensive and magical ✨❄️
It's absolutely amazing
The editing in this was so fun and chaotic and I loved the vibes
Thank you for making my day!!
I love that you included your makeup this time!
Hey Kira, just wanted to say you're doing amazing! You've inspired me so much and helped me develop as an artist
I was so confused when you said you'd have another video coming out this year, it's currently 23u42 on the 31st. Then I realised I'm in another continent 😅
I live in the same time zone-- She posted it after midnight on the 31st, giving herself less than 24 hours left of the year. 😂

Gettin' me further down my procrastination rabbit hole heck yea! 😅.
Gorgeous dress mrs alpaca. 🤩 it's blue
Always a delight to watch your costumes come together
I love how everything turned out! The color combo is just perfect!

9:56 the dismembered arm in the corner caught me off guard 👀🤣

9.20 the arm justg sitting in the back is just amazing
All of the icy detailing makes the fit look soooo cool
I agree with Tiger.........excellent rectangle.
!! Rare fluffy hair Kira sighting at 6:44, that looks fun!
Yes I am HERE for winter Kira 😍
Just painting "happy little freeze" 😂The Bob Ross of makeup looks. But truly a beautiful outfit, a masterwork of editing and the baby with her paws on her faaaaace ❤
Well done! The hot glue necklace is pretty great.
Love the cape!❄❄❄
The crown reminded me of the Snow Queen in Narnia. Great video to end the year with!
Gorgeous ❄️
Your hair was so dope while you were just talking about going to Johann's
This was amazing! It looks incredible as always Kira :)

❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ I loved getting to see the makeup details!
Winter show girl is such an interesting concept!
what a wonderful way to enter the new year, hoping to carry some of your creativity into the new year
This turned out so good!!!! I’d love to see more makeup looks. Even though I don’t wear it, I think it’s fun to watch
white eyebrowns on the makeup would be perfect
