i have to say ive grown to love this band. ive been watching them for quite a while now. my first complaint was the one guitar player wouldnt smile. now i just dig how mellow they are.
I LOVE absolutely everything about this band!!! It feels like I’ve been waiting for Halley’s Comet to come around to see and hear something like The Surfrajettes. And I’m sure glad they appeared. They’ve brought the rarest of smiles during this pandemic. No mean feat. Like the comet, hopefully a harbinger of good things to come.
Yep, this cam angle is Nicole's side. She crushes it, yet they all do. Really nice band. Really nice work by her ~ 8:00, ripping it. .. They all do so well ...
@@jeffg1524 The forthcoming LP will certainly have to be promoted but where. when, how and by whom remains subject to the virus and the US/Canada border. In a recent article Hi Tide mentioned the possibility of TV work by their artists and their deal with UMG offers more promotional resources.
Unique band. Nice to see young women that actually appreciate good music instead of the noise known as pop. Too bad the video was shot vertically instead of full screen.
Bravo for this range of songs from this Surfrajettes concert, I love their sound on the S guitar, I had not yet seen this video .... thank you @ + Bernard
Diamond Head, Toxic, In A Gadda da Vida, For Your Love, Party Line, Penetration, Surf Rider/Mr Moto, Echo Beach, She Loves You, Malaguena, Mrs Moto, Diamond Head, I Had Too Much To Surf Last Night,
Love the Surfrajettes!! Hope the editing skills have gotten better. Although, because it seems to ne on a cell phone so maybe that's the best the phone would do.
This video could have been so good. Had Dante foreseen the grave sin of portrait-mode video, he would have reserved his lowest level of hell for its perpetrators.
Lol. Was much too close to the action for landscape mode...which would have cut off Nicole's legs...and that would have been a greater sin than shooting in portrait mode.
You were decent in 2017. You re much better now! Idea for you: If you dare, you could add a little drama to your presentation if your lead guitar had a cleaner tone and a sharper attack, like the Right Hon. Dick Dale used to do. At least at certain moments, for emphasis. As it is, many of your recordings lean toward "Surf Easy Listening." Pleasant, but you have what it takes to blow us away, if you hold yourselves right.
5:13--"For Your Love"--a Graham Gouldman-penned single for the Yardbirds released in 1965. It was the last recording of theirs to feature Eric Clapton on lead guitar; he was replaced by Jeff Beck thereafter (and then Beck was replaced by Jimmy Page the next year).
MM BAH-BAH MM BAH. MM BAH-BAH MM BAH. Almost always the exact same drum tract. Variety is life, you might consider a new drummer? Maybe even a better set. Love you guys overall.
I love the drums. I've no douubt that Anna can do all sorts of different drumming but this is what it is. Like a railway car on the tracks with a wheel missing. It helps that she is my favourite Surfrajette.
Nicole....sultry stirrer of my soul....Nicole.
Six-string Bandita Bombshell, Nicole.
With her smile alone, she could steal every show...Nicole.
How cute is Nicole!
Very…
I can listen to them all day...

Love the groovy mini skirts and beehive hairdos! And they know how to rock out.
man they are crazy good

This is especially good for Nicole fans.
She even smiles a few times

Surf Music Rules! 🌊🌊🌊🌊😉 Still love to see/hear a professionally shot concert vid with great sound. Love you gals. 💖
The video to Hale'iwa Hustle is an example of what the professionals can do.
@@chrisst8922 Maybe there's an Eagle Rock Entertainment concert vid in their future? 😄

Diamond Head-One of my favorite songs. Great Job!
On their instagram there's a short film of when they first tried it.
@@chrisst8922 Thank you! Will check it out.

🤦♂️ Yet they're playing a cover of Toxic by pop queen Brittany Spears.
They have such nice guitar tones

This is very wrong. They should be far more popular. Love em.
This great band is from Toronto Canada just incase you wondered
Drummer Anna hails from Rochester, in New York State just the other side of Lake Ontario.
The1st Tune is "Diamond Head",,done 55 years ago by the Ventures,,it still rocks with an ALL GIRL band,,,the Best

I couldn't be so obvious as to put the camera 🎥 right up against Nicole 😁
Awesome!

They do really solid sets, the kicks ~ 6:30~~8:00++ marks is game on, the whole show is a jam ... :-))
Good gig !
I wish that they would eventually add vocals. They're very entertaining. Greetings from Arizona.
They were in the Cleveland area?? UGH !!! I missed them.......

I think it was Spring of '18 at the Tiki Underground near Akron, Ohio.
Cómo se llama la canción del minuto 11:40
Sarah is a Goddess!
The drummer is the shits
All are quite the number - the bassist is 46 (I know....) and the drummer is from Rochester, NY
@@Jwnorton How old is the blonde?
@@chrishayne4515 Ah, that's a closely guarded secret but it can be deduced from an article on line about Surfrajette Headquarters.
What's up with the old stalker in front staring at Nicole
¿Alguien que tenga tomas de cerca de la batera?
Creo que estaban viendo algo mucho más interesante.
Whats Up wt That 1 Hater That doesnt Like? Probably a Loser Boyfriend
Now up to "2" LOSERS........these gals are great !

Quite right! Why don't they use the same drum track that every pop song has used for the last 20 years.
it is surf music drumming...perfect.
