    Are you putting gravel between the hill and the building? Will you make videos showing how it's done ?

    Why not use Helix micro rebar instead of rebar and mesh at 9lbs per cubic yard?

    v nice video!!! done well.. for a 900 sq feet 4 car garage you suggest rebar or wire mesh

    bending the rebar - just buy a 30.00 hickey bar, the blue or orange box store have them.

    How come you didn’t use rebar on the main floor too?

      It was cheaper to use wire mesh and it gave a grid to attach the pex to

      @@appalachiandiy2415 I used 3/8 rebar on 16in center for my driveway. The price was only about $300 difference but way more labor intensive. Too many UPS drivers parking on it 😂

      @@fuzznut25 yea, for sure. Rebar is a must for driveways with heavy traffic. I dont intend to park anything heavy in the garage

    What if I used metal zip ties instead of wire?

    What is the purpose of placing wire mesh at the bottom?

    • @appalachiandiy2415
      @appalachiandiy2415  9 месяцев назад

      It adds strength to the concrete and allows you to have a place to secure the pex

      @@appalachiandiy2415 ok, but I am in doubt that a drawing shows it like that. It should be laying on chairs.

    Heat it up , then bend it

      having it warm does make it more pliable but it would cool too quickly outside
