Great video best one ever made. I’ve searched so many and you’re Johnny on the spot. Plus British accent is cool as all heck brother. From across the pond in Merica 🇺🇸
How do you know how far in the shock needs to be in the steering knuckle? Mine has got a small nub like yours sticking out off the shock to the back that’s supposed to go either between the steering knuckle or above it. I saw you push it down than install bottom bolt but Not sure how far I should bring the shock body down
MINI insist the bolts are not re-used. It would be irresponsible of us not to pass that information on. Most bolts that have a tightening sequence that includes an angle setting, are 'stretch' bolts, and will deform as they are tightened. After that first use, they lose the ability to stretch, and if an attempt is made to tighten them a second time to the recommended setting, there's a good chance they could snap.
you can only buy the UK version and online only. I tried buying the physical copy and they wont ship to USA address. its a shame because i wanted to use my discount on the bundle

The small nub on the strut goes into the gap in the steering knuckle. Insert the strut into the knuckle as far as it will go.
wHERE ARE THE SPRINGS?
Why replace the bolts? They're still good lol
