  • This is a 1971 F100 on a 2007 P71 Crown Victoria. We used the factory wiring harness for the lights and truck features. The truck harness was thinned out and attached to the truck harness. Initially you can see the cab was mounted to far forward. I ended up moving the cab two inches back which made all the difference. It is already sold. Had it on the road a couple of weeks and someone had to have it more then me. It was fun to drive.

Algorithm randomly suggested this video to me. About a 1/4 of the way on my swap project. I’m nearly to the point of bringing my truck inside the shop to start tearing it apart.
Can you tell me what floor shifter you used? Truck is a manual and at some point I’m going to swap in a tr3650 but until then I’d like to do a floor shifter so I don’t have to mess around with adapting the Vic column.

Hey thanks for watching. If you are referring g to the blue 1971 we used a floor shifter out of a crown Victoria. Used the cable too. Made it really easy to put in.

@@bumpsidegarage3002ahhhh. So junkyard searching I will go. Thanks for the reply. Didn’t know they had floor shifters in the civilian versions. Good to know.

I was surprised too. When I saw it in the junk yard I had to have it.
