Thank you! It's coming right along. Should be ready to fire it up, before you know it! Engine, Transmission, Suspension, and Holley Terminator are all installed!
It's amazing what we started over a decade ago. I think it was 2011 when I did my CV swap. No kits to buy back then. I am confident you are past the point of mounting the sway bar but you want the links perpendicular to the ground with the suspension loaded. You can get 1" and 1 1/2" drop springs from Eaton Detroit.
I have seen a lot of swap videos and I like that you are keeping the truck a truck. The cab swaps to me make no sense to me you can’t even use it as a truck. This is the way to mesh old and new and still have a truck you can use
Absolutely! I agree with you 100%. I love the way it came out. I even took it a couple states away, driving the interstate the entire time. Truck didn't have a single problem. I love it!
I got it from 3M, on amazon. It's very nice to have. Especially when you're laying under a car throwing sparks. I've got a ton of work done. Video will be uploaded in a few hours to show the progress!! Getting close!
Alot of work but she's coming right along. Going to be one sweet ride.
Jake, you have made great progress, it’s the last 20%of the job that’s 80% of the work , I always enjoy your videos

One of the best Vic swap vids! Thanks !
Thank you! It's a very straight forward process, once you get everything stripped down! Are you planning on a vic swap?
Man that’s a lot of work!

i have lots of questions but first is wiring? did you have any problems with ECM, did you buy a wiring diagram?
Nice showing actual work some of these guys get on here and just blabber and wont shut up. Lol
Lol I try to show as much detail as possible! Some people just talk about what they did, without even showing it 😆
Inspiring work, nice job! I’ve got a ‘66 F100 I’m debating on whether or not to do “the swap”….😅
Where’d you find the sweet faceshield/respirator???

Where you get the crown Vic suspension
Jake , how many saw zaw blades to cut cross member out ???
Not sure! I use the Milwaukee Torch blades. They last a long time
Jake, what did you do for a drive shaft
I just cut the factory driveshaft down a couple inches!
I totally disagree with people that do this you cut down on the value of the vehicle! Keeping it original is far better!
That's just fine! There are plenty of trucks our there for you to build it the way you prefer!
Yall do the rear end from that crown vic
Nope I used the 9" which was originally on the truck!
First!
That's usually the worst quality lol It takes forever to process lately! Thanks for watching
