Can you combine this with normal one way clutch so that power will only be only transferred from blue to orange wheel and when required power can also be transferred from Orange wheel to blue wheel when required by above rachet clutch mechanism. It is for real application.
In case of one way rotation, please refer to the concept in the following video: ruclips.net/video/WeV89YavvO8/видео.html Use green disk, orange pawl and yellow lever (as the second disk) only. Turn the pawl 180 deg. to change roles of input and output.
Ratchet clutches can not bear high speeds. Use friction clutches: ruclips.net/video/_FKePQ8PvY0/видео.html ruclips.net/video/NOwp_BQpNqw/видео.html ruclips.net/video/_mMIk3RcPA0/видео.html ruclips.net/video/QqaWJ7PDSg8/видео.html or Synchronic toothed clutch: ruclips.net/video/On1vXQ_ATu4/видео.html ruclips.net/video/15vsNsWEdBM/видео.html
The video was made in Autodesk Inventor. I don't know SketchUp. I am willing to give you STEP files of this video, if you can convert them into SketchUp.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!! Simple to implement and elegance in work!
You could make it electric by replacing the green screw thing with a solenoid.

this could actually work! (expect some unlucky lags every clutches)
The lag won't be nearly as bad at higher speeds, though.
Hi can you make similar mechanism for high speed. Please. Will be used for real application.
Ratchet clutches can not bear high speeds.
Use friction clutches:

or Synchronic toothed clutch:

Can I have the dimensions of the clutch? I'm trying to draw it on autodesk inventor, thanks
Sorry, but there is no link on the description
Mr.Thang
I'd like to try to link the above the mechanism by sketchup program.
Please let me know How can I to connecting your video.
Thanks

Do you need the STEP files of this video?
This can be created in Solidworks with 3 mates.
Let me know if your interested in my assembly.

Thank you for your information.
I do not know SolidWorks.
Hola tengo una pregunta a cuantas revoluciónes por minuto máximo trabaja este mecanismo. Saludos
It can not work at high speed because of ratchet mechanism collision.
In my opinion the speed should be under 100 rev./minute
Gracias por tu comentario ,saludos
Soooo nice , Please tell me how can I make such animation????
What is the application or program are you suing?
Thank you
All videos in this channel are made in Autodesk Inventor, Dynamic Simulation.

I will use this mechanism to make toy bike
so i got the solution of my diy rc nitro car's clutch solution
Nice work thx.
