- The Atlas Moth transforms from larvae to stunning adult in a matter of hours. It has ruby scaled wings almost a foot across. Living for only a few days, the female moth’s singular purpose is to mate and lay eggs.

Amazing... There are so many insects/animals in this world that have one sole purpose like these do and they somehow know it instinctually. It makes me think about how we, as humans, still don't truly know our purpose on earth and we live far longer than only 24 hours.

Moths are beautiful. Never judge a creature before getting to know them first.
I can’t imagine how time works for her. Those few days must move so slow.
Crazy that something would evolve such a beautiful design? It doesn't even really seem practical it's just beautiful.
