Thank you for watching and for your support! I do thin the Kilz Restoration some as it is very thick. I have found that if I try to scratch test the Restoration an hour or two after I have applied it, it will sometimes scratch off (only lived through that once😮). However, if I wait overnight and come back the next day it passes with flying colors! It has pretty much been my routine to wait until the next day with any primer before paint. Sorry it didn’t work for you. Hope you find the one you like the best. 😊 I painted the back because there were discolored area and I just felt it would look so beat up in contrast to the white once I painted it. There were also some holes and things I filled on the back. However, I normally do not paint the backs. Thanks again! 😊
Nice video, lots of work went into the production and it’s evident. VoiceOver sounded good too. Well balanced and I liked your choice of background music, caught the Steve Miller sample too. 😊 I’ve tried Restoration primer and hated it, my experience with it is so much different than yours. I found it to be too think without thinning which can mess up adherence. And even then it was chipping off my pieces. Wild stuff, but some love it. Glad it’s working for you; it might be my climate and humidity here. Why did you spray the back? Overall, a pretty piece. And well done, will subscribe to check out your other vids. 😊
@@LifeIsJust21An orbital for sure. Belt sanders are way too much for refinishing. Especially with a veneer on top, which a lot of furniture has. A decent 5” orbital sander with good quality sandpaper would be great! Glad to be helpful. 😊
i have two suggestions...1) kill the annnooooyyyinnng repetitive music in the background it really kills the experience of watching u do your magic...2) slow down the video or edited so u do not have to use another annoyyinng utube video...the speedy gonzalez or the run runner fast videos...just cut the video and let us enjoy u working...and yes...some people do not want to see a 2 hour video but in order to learn, in order to enjoy seeing you working and to enjoy the final product we want to see the video in slow motion..and yes i am aware of the utube hidden gems..lol beautiful end result as always...
Very pretty! Love how it came out.
Thank you! Thanks for watching!

That turned out so pretty! I think you've inspired me to give refinishing a try. I've always been interested but scared to give it a go.
Thank you! I’m so glad! You can do it! And you don’t have to use a sprayer either. A good quality brush can give you a great finish! 😊
@@restyledpiecesboutique Thanks for the tip! Would you recommend a belt sander or an orbital sander to get started?

Such a shame to cover up that beautiful veneer. You could have highlighted it.
