I can't believe I clicked on this. I almost didn't. I struggle with this so much, and that is what finally broke me. As I left my husband last year to really take care of myself, I came back home, and my mom got diagnosed with terminal cancer 6 months ago. The hospice nurse yesterday, told her it was ok to ask for more help. Today, I also asked for some help to get back on track to take care of my mom better.

Hey I want to tell and encourage everybody to find Jesus Christ and start living for Him. I was an atheist refusing to believe in God because it wasnt logical. But God revealed Himself to me and now i for sure know that He is real. All it takes is just a prayer with true faith and God will reveal Himself to you. If you want just call out to Him wherever you are and just trust that He is also there with you. This is your sign from God to turn to Him. You may never have another chance and also it doesnt hurt you to give God a chance to reveal Himself. God bless you and remember He loves you unconditionally ❤️

I can think of many situations where i didn't give up in frustration and asked for help and was able to get the resolution or outcome I was reaching for and times when myself or the person i was dating didn't ask for help because I/they had given up and no longer cared about the outcome.

I’m a Combat Veteran with pretty severe PTSD and let me tell you. Asking for help was one of the hardest and scariest things I’ve ever had to do. To face the darkness inside me and learn not to runaway from it….
I was able to get help from an amazing doctor and now I have the tools and training to face my demons should they arise. I have three amazing children and a wonderful wife and I hope that when they grow up, that they wish to be kind ❤

Thank you ❤ I cried every day for 3 weeks when my wife and son were gone 💔 I still cry some even now that I have my son back. I thought I was a big screw up, but it wasn't me 😢 I asked everyone for help, and the Lord provided. I still pray and love my ex, but have learned I can't be the one for her. My kindness isn't enough.

i remember the longest period i went was 6 months, i broke my phone on accident and i completely went ballistic for hours, along with crying, holding that much pain in made me extremely mad, like i had never been before, that's why i don't hold it in anymore, i was one of those kids that didn't show sad emotions because i was threatened with punishment for no reason as a kid so, just cry people, nobody needs to get upset with you for being human, not letting people be human is inhumane, crying now, nowadays, if anything it reliefs a bit of the pain, which makes me feel better science says it releases it anyway, let's just listen to our bodies yeah

I never thought of being kind as something I’ve strive for as I grew. You see so many people get bitter with age. But the older I get the more I strive towards kindness and forgiveness. I am not kind to others in hopes of a reward, I treat others how I wish to be treated and I don’t lower those values. Kindness isn’t easy, but most great things in this world are not easy.
It is easy to be bitter. Kindness is a commitment.
I’ve always been kind and now at 65 when I’ve always been there for all my friends, they were not there for me. Except a couple who I will always cherish they were truly my friends.

@@antoniocrcarevski4015 i suggest finding a different way to advocate god. the comment section is a sticky place to be doing it, and therefore you need to be concise and creative to achieve the best results.
i, for example, am still bitter over something that has happened in my life, and god didn't answer me when i needed him most.
your message still feels raw on my wound, and I don't think that's how you want it received.
you need to be careful with what you claim god can do, because people will believe you, and god has shown me, that he doesn't answer every message, regardless of the nature of help you need from him.
if you aren't careful, you'll be doing god a disservice, rather than helping the people you are trying to help.
@Nu_Wen God didn't answer you or maybe you didn't see His answer. He doesn't always speak to you audibly, but through signs, videos, posts. And yes I am certain that God can do everything that He wills, and i have been commanded to spread His message of grace, mercy and love. If someone doesn't want to accept it, it is their own choice to reject God's message. I am giving my testimony in hopes that it will be enough evidence to others to turn to God. Maybe God did answer you, but He needed you to move or He wanted you to go through your situation so that at the end you would grow your faith and character in Christ. I don't know your situation but God does and He is willing to help as long as you give Him the room He needs to help you. God bless you and remember He loves you unconditionally ❤️
As someone who suffered deep childhood wounds this speaks to me.
I stopped talking freely from 7-40 yrs old, (never initiated conversation, gave up having friends, spoke when people asked me things and answered what was required to say, nothing more). I completely lived within myself as it was the only place I could exist honestly.
Finally at 40, I broke. I needed Help.
I have met all these characters in my imagination & I thank them for keeping me alive. It's their strength and wisdom that finally gave me the courage to validate my Identity and SPEAK my Truth. 🌟

The most bravest word in the english language is to say "no". Saying no when everyone is telling u that u have to do it but u still choose your own feelings and never crumble under pressure that's an amazing feeling. Having a mind of your own something u can stand for something u believe in something u feel is right or wrong regardless who is telling u otherwise is something noone can give u or take from u. It's something I wish everyone had but sadly only a handful would stand up when wrong is done in the name of right. There is something called integrity and we must never lose it otherwise we lose ourselves in others and their opinions and beliefs. It doesn't matter it really doesn't if a doctor or a teacher or your parent tells u do to it. IF U FEEL THAT IT'S WRONG THEN STAND UP AND SAY NO!
I have been standing up for what is right at work. It backfired on me and gaslighting,gangstalking, degraded,etc all is happening. My kindness is not weakness. Been in my career a long time. I take care of the sick. Because of this I am looking for other career avenues to step away for good. My health is important to me. My family is important to me. God will show us His way in all this. ❤

I've been a nurse for 32 years and have given my heart and soul to caring for others. The past 1 to 2 years it feels as if I'm fighting a spiritual and moral warfare all by myself at work, and quite frankly it has put my own health and well-being in jeopardy! I've always done EVERYTHING on my own...but now I feel so weak, and so incredibly alone 😢 And for the first time in my life, I've had to admit I can't do this alone anymore...I need help. Just beautiful, this touched my heart so much. Growing up my family constantly told me i was too soft and kind, and needed to toughen up. I felt like such sn outsider. Im 48 realise my kindness and empathy are a gift, even though my family still think I'm still to soft and my kindness hinders me. However i know that's not true. My kindness has reached so many, I've helped so many, and i feel that is a strength. Thank you ❤
I'm in the opposite situation. My family advises me that kindness is something I should adopt. But I've been through a lot, and I've had to fight for my survival while I grew up around bullies. I find it difficult to be kind because I fear that it may be used against me.
You should understand where your family members are coming from and what they've been through. This world has a lot of cruel people and it is better to have your guard up.

@@getalife88854 I've found that teasing and bullying can make people tough. Negatives can be strong motivators. Your inner voice developes durability through pain and suffering, kindness may only go so far.
I'm not a soft individual, I have fairly thick skin, but I often struggle with my emotions as I do not feel like I'm worth the trouble. I struggle to ask for help, it's very difficult for me to ask for help.
I still believe there is kindness in this world, but a large majority of us are too hardened to let it in. I am kind, but incredibly guarded. I suppose I "don't lower my shield" much. Once betrayed, twice as shy.
@@wereguy18 it’s not your fault. Society programs us to be in our masculine energy; to not feel any emotions. We all have masculine and feminine energy. Feminine energy is our intuition and emotions. It’s okay to feel your emotions.
You have to feel that you are worth being helped. Push past the part of yourself that feels like you don’t deserve it. Self limiting beliefs are programmed into our subconscious mind. Time to reprogram yourself 🩷 I think therapy helps as a way to ask for help. Remember it’s okay to not have all the answers all the time.
It’s just pride or your ego trying to protect you from the people that hurt you. But not everyone is out to get you.
I can’t see myself asking for any help. As much as I need help right now, my pride won’t let me. I’ve always been self sufficient, but this lil short hittin me hard.
Someone told me once, "Pride will keep you poor and lonely." It's not too late to change your mind and actions.

It cracks me up! “Just be better” as though those few words can fix a broken heart, or a feeling of abject loneliness even when standing in the midst of all these people who love you. Sadness and depression are completely different prisons. One you can escape only if you’re medicating for it and the other lacks a remedy but can sometimes be relieved temporarily by fleeting blessings.
Those without sadness or depression will never understand those with these conditions. Telling someone suffering from either or both only worsens their state of being as it makes them feel like a failure when they can’t “just feel better.” To depressed or sad people, it seems everyone else is doing well except them and this results in layers of guilt being added to their melancholy. Not a good combo.
Best to only encourage, hug, visit or spend time with them and let them feel your love.

So true, I've been experiencing this a lot in my life recently. A lot of what I'm praying about is being answered through small ways but enough that I know God is hearing me and answering. We often miss it in all the noise of life though.

Currently going to a LDR breakup, I've given her my everything and she couldn't give it back. Our spark ran its course, too quickly. I'm the 43 year old embodiment of the phrase "all children deserve parents, but not all parents deserve children." People often don't realize that the things they do and say to their children (and allow others to do/say) follows them forever and shapes who they become. I still endure the pain of childhood trauma after decades of therapy and medication and I often wish I'd never been born. I feel like I've never experienced true happiness or love and I only bring down those around me. This hit hard 😢❤
I'm there, and have been so many times before. One of the reasons I'm still here, is because our story, doesn't belong to the people who hurt us, and we deserve to see our whole story. Sometimes, the best thing I can do for myself, is to help someone who needs it, and I think you can do things for others that you wish someone had done for you.

In high school, I was given an assignment to plan my financial future well into retirement. What job would I do, where would I live, how much money would I have, what would I buy, what would I do, etc etc. Instead of writing anything, I just wrote happiness for each 10 year gap. I got an F and was scolded by the teacher who really didn't explain the point of the exercise. But 10 years later, I'm still following happiness and nothing went according to any plan I could possibly conjure up when I was 18.
I dont think the plan the teacher gave u was realistic. Life isnt predictable. U cant plan everything and have to be adaptable and be ready to update ur plans. Also great job on chosing happiness! Wish u well on your journey ❤
One thing I learned after highschool, is that there is no such thing in life as a guarantee. Another thing I learned, is how messy life is, and things rarely ever go according to our plans. Be kind, forgiving, patient and you will find happiness no matter where you go.
