Hey George, I remember winters in upstate NY, makes TN feel like shorts weather. Love those blazers. Thanks for watching!

Thanks Johnny! I'm excited to actually be tearing a car apart. My favorite part of the build.

Just came across this video, and reading some of the comments seems to be some S-10 fans here, have any of ya’ll had an issue with losing a ground and it caused the trans to shift improper, it’ll shift from 1st to drive manually but slams back into 1st. Truck will not shift through gears automatically. Had the trans replaced with a used trans that was guaranteed to be good and it’s doing the same thing as before

Excellent question for the viewers. Let's hear some great answers! It would help a lot to know which engine and transmission you have as well as the year and model of the ...S10? Also, which parts did you replace? Torque converter?, tv cable? transmission cooler? It sounds like a mechanical failure may have caused the initial problem. in that case there is probably debris and metals pumped throughout the system. If you didn't replace ALL of those components, any debris in the fluid would be pumped into the new transmission which would fail quickly after install. If the used trans worked for a little while when first installed and then failed again, that's probably what happened.

S-10 is much more of a pain in the ass than pulling a engine Out of the Nissan engine. LOL🤣👍 You are a rockstar buddy looking forward to seeing what your going to create out of the S-10. and we’re going to have to see about getting you a portable heater. Great video looking forward to many more keep it up.

Removing an engine out of a 55 Chevy thru a 70 Chevy was so much easier. I miss those days.

Awesome Clint! Thanks for all the detail… I’m the same way clean the garage then make a mess again right after it’s done…
What’s the size of that Garage? My S10 and my Datsun 620 are both in my garage and I barely have enough room to fart.
