Yo! I work in VFX as a generalist. This is so good, love to see Maya being used for fun as well as properly scaling the model from the get go. That is something I see people miss all the time but for textures and lighting it is essential! Hope we cross paths in the industry at some point!
This is exactly the training video I wanted. And you are a master at this. Thank you very much for this video and other videos like it. It is more profitable to watch this 1-hour video than to watch hours of lessons on Udemy or other sites.
There's a much simpler way to put your helix on the curve that lets you easily adjust the helix parameters while it is on the curve. I did it for the cable on a retro keyboard. You select the helix and curve and use the "Curve Warp" deformer. You can then adjust the the helix parameters and they will always follow the curve.
Awesome! Yes this is a great way to do it thanks for mentioning it! Not sure if you can move the object along the path with the timeline slider by this method, I could be wrong though but regardless its a quicker way to attach a helix shape, I'll try to remember this! Thanks :)
I would add wireframe renders and any info or images explaining or showing the process you did to create the asset, including poly count, texture sizes, etc. You could also show the texture maps.
I just scaled the cube thin, then selected all the faces on my cube and de-selected the top face and deleted the rest. So in the end I was left with a plane. You could also just start off with a plane object instead of a cube. I hope this helps!
@@polyrendr thanks bro . I'm just beginner and the teacher is just you. Your video pause it play it pause it play , thats how i learning maya. Your reply its very lot to me thanks again ❤️
