For game assets I usually like to start with a LP and then add subdivisons for my HP model but I usually don't do the full HP/LP workflow on this channel just to save time on the videos since I usually do them on my weekends. There will definitely be more game-ready assets down the road though :)
Great vid! I think the beige is more interesting and separates the components nicely, but you lose the sexy shiny details that the all blacked out look provides. Definitely hard to choose, I see why you kept both!
It can be competitive, but with dedication and a solid portfolio, it’s definitely achievable! The learning never ends, I'm still learning but it took me a few years of continuous practice to feel fairly confident with it. The more you practice, the better you will get.
