Funny enough, I INSTANTLY remembered Minish Cap had a croissant. When I played it as a kid, that very croissant had always stuck out to me because it somehow just looked so super appetizing to me
This would also work very well as a 2 player Bingo game. Each player gets a 4x4 or 5x5 grid of things to encounter and whoever fills a line first wins. Each player's bingo board would be randomly selected and is different from the other players. It would work with more than 2 players too.
I don't know if it would be faster, but at the very beginning of Link's Awakening, Ulhrira's(sp?) wife Lady Yahoo is sweeping her sidewalk with a broom.
I liked this idea: a Zelda scavenger hunt, I’m sure there will be more hunts in the near future since some bizarre vague items would be cool to find for a Zelda fan
I really like the idea of this challenge! It asks you be mindful of more than just pure gameplay. You have to actually consult your memory of purely aesthetic things too. It can also make you appreciate the work they put into little details that ordinarily don't serve any gameplay purpose. It's also very versatile. This could work for many different franchises.
12:40 the first broom I thought of was one of the Twinrova Or the person sweeping things in either A Link to the Past or A Link Between Worlds in Kakariko Village.
There’s paintings of Mario characters in the castle courtyard in OOT where you get Zelda’s letter. You can see them by looking through the windows! Always been a cool little Easter egg.
Hmmm... I know The Minish Cap has a bakery or something similar where you can buy food... in my mind, they might have bread, sandwiches, and slices of pie? I would assume that's where you can find a croissant
there are paintings of mario characters in hyrule castle that you can see if you look through a window where you first meet zelda in oot edit: this would make every item on the list except the croissant findable in oot3d pre master sword
I only thought of this because I just recently started playing minish cap but I’m pretty sure it’s the fastest way to see a saw since there are a group of carpenters that block your way immediately after the tutorial you can see them at 15:08 also I think if you keep with minish cap you might be able to spot the cows at it’s Lon Lon ranch. My other thought was that frogs might be on the plateau tutorial in BOTW?
Whoever suggested Croissant, I am proud of you.
It was me

If u ever fell useless, remember- croissants don't heal u
@@akakibokolishvili3201 But it does! It heals 1 heart.

Same!
You could have found paintings really early on in OOT. Inside Zelda's courtyard, there are paintings of Bowser and Mario
I remembered that too
And Mario, or rather Hario, paintings are everywhere in Link to the Past.

Yea that was my first thought for broom
I hope that everyone agrees that the power bracelet in OG TLOZ or the Gameboy games would've counted as a croissant.
😂 well played
Wait what does this mean?
@@Emily.545check the item icon.
@@Emily.545 Just look it up, I think you'll understand
I would have chosen the Book of Koridai as one of the items. Iykyk
I liked this idea: a Zelda scavenger hunt, I’m sure there will be more hunts in the near future since some bizarre vague items would be cool to find for a Zelda fan
When I saw croissant and link in the same picture my mind went to Minish Cap where you can buy a croissant
Painting and broom are both in Link's awakening start village, just a few minutes in.
I would definitly love more runs like this, with possible even more random stuff like the croissant
I could definitely ramp up the challenge next time
Nice to see an actually creative challenge on RUclips. Good video
For the croissant, my money was on Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, or Wind Waker. I guess it's been too long since I played Minnish Cap.

Would love to see cooking speedrun challenges from start
Zelda iron chef
“A game having a lot to do with paintings”
“This does not count as a painting”
😂 he didn't paint it. I wouldn't call a picture in a frame a painting either, right?
He basically transformed her into brush strokes on a canvas. It counts@@GameEssays
Hmm...I suppose it is an "unpainted" painting.
This is a really neat idea
It's finally here!
Ngl the first broom i thought of was with the woman sweeping the dirt outside the hateno general store in botw
I think you’ve found an unlimited content glitch. Good stuff.
Hilarious challenge haha definitely would watch another one
12:40 the first broom I thought of was one of the Twinrova Or the person sweeping things in either A Link to the Past or A Link Between Worlds in Kakariko Village.

You found the exact saw I was thinking of!
And cow!!
Such a fun idea! Hope you do more like this
This is a great video and I’d love to see this same type of challenge for other series, or even try it some how
Would love to see it!
croissant%.......
absolutely great video
Hmmm... I know The Minish Cap has a bakery or something similar where you can buy food... in my mind, they might have bread, sandwiches, and slices of pie? I would assume that's where you can find a croissant
What about the eggs from Gomha in the Deku tree?
Didn't even think of them, good call!
The croissant makes me think of Zeldudes playthrough of Minish Cap
For frog I was thinking the one in MM in clock town
there are no chickens in _Zelda,_ only cuccos. challenge failed.
When the egg hatched it said chicken in the text box! Lol
@@GameEssays - that’s a typo.
Sounds like, walks like... why not?
What's faster: ALBW, or returning to Zelda's courtyard and looking through the windows?
there are paintings of mario characters in hyrule castle that you can see if you look through a window where you first meet zelda in oot

Great ideas, that could have completely changed the run. Probably faster!
The power bracelet item should count as a croissant snice it looks like one. Change my mind
Would gohmas eggs that are laid if you don’t one cycle or found throughout the dungeon count as an egg??
Just noticed @astre909 commented a very similar thing, my mistake
Yup just didn't think of it lol
U mossed a very early egg u could have wait for the 1st oot boss on the roof he lays eggs that hatch!
What a fun challenge!!😂
I was definitely thinking Zelda 1 for the croissant but that may have been cheating lol
In links awakening theres an old lady sweeping in mabe village
This was probably the move
@GameEssays I could be wrong but I think she outside sweeping when you first leave marins house
For the Shark, isn't there a decorative wooden one in Orca's house? Edit: okay, nvmd, I think it's unsurprisingly an orca
You should do this with final fantasy games
Ive only ever played OG FF7, would be tough
Minish cap!
9:24 Nice
Gouma lays eggs why didnt you cant that
It would have counted if I realized it haha
So would thenPower Bracelet have counted as a croissant?
No but lol
Rad shark
Please find the Croissant
I did
@@GameEssays Thank you
are cuccos chickens?
I would say so.
the first game i thought of that it might have a croissant was castle town in twighlight princess
I might have to check out of curiosity
At this point change your name to Zelda Essays
