I love this thank you. I love to do these things, nature is life itself, its healing the soul the mind and also the body. Reminds us that we are part of the whole.😊 Sometimes i feel lonely because whenever I talking to people about how I love sitting on the earth, listening to birds, and just be, people often looked at me as a weirdo. sometimes it would be nice to talk to someone who sees the world from the same point of view as me. But its ok
I completely agree. We’re all a little weird, you just need to find people that don’t see that as a bad thing and that are a positive influence on you 😊 Being honest is a great way to attract the people that you want into your life 🌸
Going through a break up and I’m basically “relearning” how to be alone again and okay with myself. Nature is beautiful and I agree, technology can be great but only if we use it as a tool, not something to rely on and be controlled by 24/7 which causes me to feel so unhappy and disconnected from myself! Beautifully put video as always 🌸
I'm sorry you're going through a difficult time. I promise that things do get easier, and I really feel that a few things can help tremendously: 1. time outside (no surprises here). But really, getting some sun, escaping the city noises, being alone or amongst others seeking similar time away, letting your mind run its course (as scary as that can sometimes be) & just noticing the world and life around you. It's beautiful once you give yourself the chance to notice. 2. Exercise every day. This could nicely couple with the first point, but even just a gentle walk, a bit of yoga, a group fitness class, a swim, run, rock-climbing... whatever makes you happy. Some movement every day is one of the greatest things I've ever implemented into my life. 3. Get enough sleep. Try waking up without an alarm and see when your body has had enough sleep. Go from there. 4. Use this as an opportunity to assess the kind of people you want to be surrounded by in life. Reach out to those you genuinely want to spend more time with and be honest with them. Cultivate the relationships you want to have. 5. Make a list of things you can do instead of being on a screen. It's fine to be on your phone, computer, whatever for some time each day, but try not to let it consume you. It's not going to help you feel any better. Or feel better about yourself. Make a list of things you'd genuinely love to spend your time doing - big and small, time-consuming and quick - and refer to that when you have that urge to go on your phone. And if you're out in public, waiting in line or you have a spare moment, try to refrain from compulsively going on your phone. Look around. Notice. Observe. People-watch. You'll find that time doesn't just whizz by, but there's always life happening around you. You just have to witness it. Thank you for the kind words and I'm sending you love 😊🦋
I would like to thank you that you have changed the mindset of me and so many people out there with your inspirational videos❤❤Nature is a spark in your heart,it makes your heart being in fire ,wanting to achieve and accomplish so many things in your life😊
I like this video so much, especially because I'm certainly not a calm person but u crave calmness and i carve inspiration and connection to nature. I adore you, and i love your videos. So thanks a lot. Keep going!!
Hi Lauren, I like that your videos are kind of personal than just like some channel videos if it's make sense. It's make them unique and amazing to watch from time to time. Great work!
This video came right on time for me. I am a bit afraid to go out alone because i have been so out of habit of not doing anything. I will go out today to a nearby park. Alone. Thank you Lauren❤ I sincerely hope you continue making these beautiful videos.
The first time is always the hardest. After that first one, you'll probably be so excited for the next chance- and then it'll come to it and you'll be showered in doubts and resistance again. I find two things really help - 1. Make a promise to yourself and commit to that promise. Once you make a decision to go out, stick to it. No matter what, don't let yourself back out. It can be so hard to simply make a decision, so don't make it harder for yourself by trying to back out and fighting with yourself when the time comes. 2. Practice discipline. Even if the weather is unideal, if you still manage to go, imagine how much easier it will be to go on a beautiful day - you know you can do it on the harder days, it makes the easier ones that much easier. Stick to it once, you know you can do it again. Stick to it twice, you've got an understanding of how getting outside makes you feel, and how following through on your promises to yourself makes you feel. Some days will always feel harder than others, no matter how many times you've done it. But that's just an indication of how much you need to push through and get out there. When things feel easy, we're in a good place and there's not a lot of benefit (or as much). It's when things are tough and we push through that we really FEEL a shift. I hope you have a lovely time in the park - you've got this. Relax and enjoy yourself 😊☀
@lauren_hogg Wow! Thank you for replying so earneslty. It makes me feel so warm and comforted. Point 1 is definitely exactly what i do, i back out at the last minute. I'm writing this down in my journal so i can keep coming back to it to remind myself that i can do this. This was really beautiful, Lauren. You have a beautiful way of articulating things. Thank you.
