@oetzi022 now your sounding like a bunny hugger, all that will be Regen in 1-2 years and tons of people benefit from all of the lumber that would otherwise just rot on the hill.
Excellent movie 🎥 Bjarne!! I was wondering if we would ever see you throw your chain and do the quick bar bend to put it back on 👍👍😉 Beauty work today ✊
I think that you filming something “in camp” about the camp life would interesting just because it would be different than most of us in the USA have never experienced that “logging camp” life. You don’t know unless YOU try. 😁 PLEASE?
Me too, since I started watching I’ve been wondering what the helicopters moving the logs is like. There’s one video that they push a tree over with the helicopter and I think it has a small amount of footage moving a log. I think they also blow a tree up in that video but I can’t recall which one.
They use two types of helicopters for logging. Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane for huge buck lumber and the Bell 214 B Single engine used for bringing crews in and out and for small lumber pickups. It's about a 5 million dollar operation. Considering this hillside is probably worth 50 million dollars Canadian.
When you first started-up at beginning of this video; did someone return your favor of having oiled the muffler bearings? Smoked like Yellowstone for a few seconds.
Love that sunrise !
That saw sounds good brother....snappy!!!
Your content is so good that I sometimes like before watching the entire video
Man I gotta say you get to work in some nice country Bjarne.

The brightness of you jacket make you look like the screaming yellow Csonka.

You should talk about your saw some time.
Magnificent sunrise. Most impressive. Have you had your saw ported or something recently? seems to crack a bit more, particularly on idle.
You make it look easy peasy 😂😂😂
Fire in the shy
Never thought of this occupational Hazzard until now but I'm guessing you fellers take quite a few wedge cuts to the shin when they slide out!!
