    I watch GMG on Saturday mornings like I once watched Saturday morning cartoons!

    Holy cow! That cardboard is so dense there was a meaty 'thunk' every-time Ash chucked a piece down! CB are killing it as usual.

    That is a lot of good looking, high quality terrain for something around $25 American. I would use this for any scifi skirmish game.

    When you marker the edges of card terrain, it's often easier to do it to the flat pieces before you assemble them, and catch the creases and folds as you go. You can get Prismacolor or Winsor-Newton markers that exactly match your colors from most craft or art stores. I know Hobby Lobby carries them.

    really enjoy the ash dad skills of no directions making this fit. def will be getting several of these.

      I laughed a bit when the instructions were basically just pictures of the kit already put together. lol

    Thanks for making me realize I wasn't loosing my mind and doing this wrong as I tried to assemble the terrain from Op Kaldstrom... definitely appreciate how solid this is but there could have been someway to make it actually go together without having to force it and bend the edges of some of the hooks...

      From my experience, it helps to shave down the slots a bit sometimes. Never force it, and always grip close to the join so that there's no unnecessary stress on the fit.

    Thanks for the recommendation of the Tacky Glue pen! I ordered one, it should make assembling some of my Battle Systems terrain easier. Regular white/PVA can get a little messy in application but this looks more precise and neat.

    Great piece of kit, looks like a slick way to fill out a hi-technology future regardless of game system

    Its about time CB did these!!! Glad to see official hardboard terrain for Infinity. They look great.
    Not convinced with by the Sharpie black lines. I would use color crayons instead.

      You can get felt-tip markers in a variety of colors. With the right color it looks great. I've done this on my BattleSystems terrain as well - black is not usually the best choice.

    This terrain looks perfect. I can see this getting people who've been hesitant about picking up Infinity because of the terrain requirements into the game - or at least thinking about it. Definitely the case for me.
    The terrain itself is such a perfect concept - the cardboard is sturdy, the printing is nice, no painting, easy to assemble and it looks great. I hope they keep expanding on this range and maybe add scenery for other genres.

    This set is very nice. I build up one, without glue and without blacklining, and I am very happy with it. It will make a nice addition to my plastcraft terrain. But you have to be carful when you cut out the pieces, I had two little accidents here, robbing me of the choice of the wich side to build ;.)
    The marker set is also a very nice one - i love the double sided usefulness. I have a lot of good acrylic markers, but I will use this too, very handy!

    Black sharpie does not make it look better. The color of walls blend in well with cardboard grey. Also you could dry assemble whole building first and then glue it from inside. I like how quick it was. Good job.

      Wiktor Chwastek - I mean ... there’s no reason you couldn’t use this for Necromunda. If it’s too shiny-future for you, spray some burnt umber on it to dirty it up.

    It’s probably not worth it to reprint the old terrain packs like this, but I like this a lot more than the paper ones, it’s like a low cost alternative to MDF that still retains much of the quality.

    For what it's worth, I found it far easier to start with the front and the inner stair then work my way way around the roof clockwise one wall at a time, ending with the stairway clipping in over the little L block.

    • @GuerrillaMiniatureGames
      @GuerrillaMiniatureGames  5 лет назад

      I got a method down for kits 5-8 where I built the L of the back and did the stairs side last and it was minimal fuss. :)

    Ash what do you think of Battle Systems terrain?

    • @HeadHunterSix
      @HeadHunterSix 2 года назад

      Personally, I think CB realized that Battle Systems was eating their lunch and stepped up the sturdiness of their terrain.

    So all those tokens/templates came with the stand alone pack for the terrain?

    • @GuerrillaMiniatureGames
      @GuerrillaMiniatureGames  5 лет назад +3

      They do! And they're awesome! We got two sets so we swapped over the Holos and Shasvastii style Order tokens so they're perfect for Humies and Shas forces.

    Personally I think gluing these sets is a giant waste of time and could hurt you down the line if you want to downsize or store them, maybe even sell your set of terrain later. They're extremely sturdy without glue and you may want to make them flat again one day. Two sets of these and two sets of the add-ons and you're good to go on a 4 by 4 table
    Edit...I wouldn't enjoy taking them apart and putting them back together...glue if u like
