      Unless they somehow get extremely bad customer service or something I will never buy anything but asrock motherboards when I build a PC and recommend them to people all the time. You can get a great board and if there is an issue they are decent with rma and return times at a very good price and also they have very rich features for thier price points like you can get this type of board for cheap and be set for normal usage or light overclocks or spend a bit more and get some pretty decent overclocking. I am still running my old X99 Intel board from late 2016 and it has been running constantly aside from when I moved with no issues.

      Hey bro, what cooler are you using for 7900x and does the processor throttle on long use bcz of 95°C base temp or random shut downs? And if you are using a AIO are they safe & what if the water leaks out does the company pay for any damage to other parts?

    • @lCountMike
      @lCountMike 11 месяцев назад

      @@vivekchauhan4085Right now it's Arctic liquid freezer II 360 installed as front intake. Some throttling on 7900x occurs at exactly 90c, actually it's more like limiting the boost frequency on some cores. I didn't push it much over 90c but when I did (96c) it did shutdown but not because of temps but lack of power and voltage I limited to avoid damage. There it throttles severely so no use going there or over 90c anyway. Right now, wholly stable at 5.3GHz all core @ 87c and 1.116v.
      As for AIO coolers, they came long way, very reliable and secure from leaking unless physically damaged. This is my5thor 6th one in some 8 years. Arctic has 6 year warranty which includes damage to other parts in case of a leak but even leak may not cause damage because liquid is not electrically conductive.

    this is scary, just last night i made a system with this mobo, 7700x and 64gb ram and somehow youtube knew and recommended me this video on my homepage. haven't ordered yet but some questions if i may:
    1- will this mobo work straight out of the box for a 7700x without updating bios? what version of bios does it come with
    2- 02:17 never had or liked argb, does this turn on automatically when connecting the motheboard cable? i don't want any argb
    3- 07:51 pcie gen 5x4 this is on the cpu and the 4x4 with the 4x2 on the mobo chipset. i looked at manual and it says the speeds are 5x4-128gb/s, 4x4-64gb/s and 4x2-32gb/s and if i get a 4000mb/s nvme in the 4x2 it will still run at max speed according to my math? (conversion is 4000mb/s=32gb/s)
    4- the usb ports i don't get at 07:01 07:19 if i connect either of those is that ok for 2x 3.0 usb ports on front panel? same for the front usb 2.0 there are also 2 at front of my case, i have to connect both those on the motherboard at 09:30?

      this should be fine. when it comes to coolers, you need to consider that these chips try and hit 90+ by design and that is unusual for us PC builders, so a big large cooler is needed to combat the temp spikes if you want a quiet PC. I would suggest a 240mm aio as a minimum
