New Subscriber...loving the channel! Interesting pick of games for this subject...and oddly enough, the changing die faces are the main draw for a game I've been working on for a couple of years. But in my game, die faces are swapped to upgrade attacks, defense, healing, etc. Keep these videos coming!! Love it!
Interesting because I didn’t focus on artwork? I hope I made my intent clear. Better artwork is what I mean when I say it can be applied to any game. But does artwork really make a game better? More attractive, yes. But better? I tried to select games where the components themselves actually make the game better. Anyway. Thank you for subscribing and leaving your comment. I would maybe talk about some third party upgrades. Quacks for example is so much more enjoyable to play with upgraded plastic tokens. I know this video was mostly about game that come with high production value and nice components, but it would be interesting.
The new deluxe Ra Pharaoh edition is really beautiful. So is Dice Tree's deluxe Winner's Circle edition and Medina 2nd edition. Also Super Meeple's editions of Tikal, Mexica and Cuzco are superb looking. The amazing resin pyramids in Mexica ...
