Love LODs, also another option would be create a filter by Customer ID with a condition for the aggregation (count distinct of order ID) >=2, I think outcome will the same, but LODs are great.

100% agree! The LOD option might provide a little extra flexibility but 9/10 times a conditional filter could probably do the trick!

Hi Eric, Trying to acheive the same result at 5:43 shown in video with the same viz but discrepency occurs in both measures (in the distinct count of orders per customer according to region) vs (distinct count of order id at customer level using fixed lod) . can you please tell me on calculated field [Cust id] beacause i am using [Customer ID] the values are not matching.why discrepency occurs.Just waiting for your insights

Hey Anuj. Thanks for watching the video! I'd recommend donwloading the Tableau workbook here and using the same data source I'm using. public.tableau.com/app/profile/eric.parker/viz/Final_HowtoFilterandKeepOnlyValueswithMultipleRecords/Title
      Here's the Cust ID formula:
      LEFT([Region],1) + [Customer ID]
Tableau's Customer IDs are screwey. The same Customer ID can be tied to several different names/locations. I made my own calculation to make sure they weren't duplicating.
