We purchased a panasonic solo microwave in October for our office setup. Like you mentioned it is light in weight. It has a push mechanism to open the door and i have to hold the microwave while opening. However performance is great at that price point. We are planning to get a Convection Microwave for home for day to day use plus occassional baking. Please suggest a suitable model.

I have used Samsung microwave convection oven for 10 ½ years and later LG connection oven for almost 9 years and now again I'm using LG charcoal for the past almost 4 years now. If you are happy with your Panasonic solo microvave, you can go for this 23 L one. They also have a 28 L model. You can decide based on your requirements(number of persons, budget etc.). In comparison with LG and Samsung the price is quite reasonable. Their warranty period for magnetron (i think it is 5 years) is much more than the other companies.
