It looks like a great season of cards, Guy. It is one of the few seasons I haven't memorized the stats for because it was never offered by Fast Break. I'll probably get in a few games after I get deeper into my NCAA Super Centers Tournament with CB2K. Take care. 🏀
Definitely one of my Top 3 NBA seasons! Remember watching the playoff games often late at night after the news in the central time zone. So many greats!
Hi, Larry. Wasn't that crazy, watching tape delayed playoff games late into the night/early morning? I remember waiting up late to watch the fifth game of the 1986 playoffs when Sampson beat the Lakers 114-112 on a last second shot that looked like a reverse volleyball set. I was so happy that the Rockets knocked off the Lakers. As a kid at Oregon State staying up until 2 a.m. was not a problem, lol. 🏀
Good point, Jason. I do like the factory cards, with a small touch of color and some gloss. I also have a couple of seasons of their PDFs printed out as well. What is interesting is that the fonts on those cards are actually bigger than on the factory made cards. More work to print but small benefit for your eyes for viewing. Cheers! 🏀
Hey Rod, Hope all is well and as always love the content!! I was really thinking about getting Hoops!! I have seen nothing but good things about this game and seems to play a little easier then Replay Basketball?? Take care Friend and God Bless!!🙏🏾☺️
Good to hear from you as always, Pops. I've always found Hoops as an easy-to-play game with accurate stats. I'm certain that Replay Basketball is probably accurate as well. I still struggle with reading the Replay cards quickly enough (player vs. defender) to develop a consistent flow with the game. Typically, I'll have about three straight "quick results" on the cards but then get stuck with either a difficult look-up (or raised number result) or a chart look-up (fast break, free throw rebound or whatever). That frustrates me a bit. I'm going to keep working at it, though, as I'm still so new to the game. Have a good one. 🏀
Everyone’s favorite You Tube Basketball Channel, Very infectious presentation Rod!! Always look forward to your videos. Take Care and Keep it up
Thank you, bruinsfan. Always appreciate your support. 🏀
The 1981-82 HOOPS season helped get me through this past winter. A great set. a great season, great job by Mark on this one.
