Diplomatico Restaurant is one of Quarteira's newest hidden gems offering a unique blend of traditional Portuguese cuisine with a French twist. Begin your meal with distinct couverts, including Algarvian carrots puréed, spicy butter with rose pepper, and fresh tuna pate. For starters, we enjoyed cauliflower, carrot, and courgette tempura style, and prawns in a spicy sauce, perfectly paired with a refreshing pina colada and coconut spritz.
For the mains, we shared Xerem (pronounced sheray), a delightful dish of corn polenta, clams, and prawns, followed by tender lamb cutlets with roast potatoes. Each bite was a culinary delight. Finally, we indulged in a shared lime cheesecake for dessert, all while sipping on a jug of rosé prosecco sangria.
