Please please please make sure you ventilate while cooking with a gas cooker in such a confined space mate. I know of people that have passed away due to carbon monoxide poisoning camping using gas cookers inside a confined space. Please be careful. Grab a carbon monoxide alarm could be a lifesaver 👍
I left a comment on the parking app regarding "morons leaving rubbish everywhere" at a spot i stayed at on Saturday night. Comment was taken down, yet another comment, for the same site, stated that it was a dogging site and that they found a dildo outside their door, was allowed in the comments???? Go figure.
He mentioned in an earlier video he has a monoxide alarm. Plus he’s an experienced camper
He has an alarm I could see it over his head while he was cooking 🧑🍳 in fact he has two 😊

I love kinlochleven. Camped up there when I walked Ben Nevis. Campsite had resident eagles that lived nearby. That co op is a cracking little local shop.

@@wanderingwhere yes you coukd spend months up there. I've still lots to discover on Skye and I've been a few times. You'd love hiking the Quiraing range. Scotland is huge with so much to offer. Happy trails
Aonach Eagach is a serious undertaking, definitely worth some research. Also no escape routes once committed, you’re either turning back or going to the end. Bear in mind the end of the route finishes about 10km down from the start, I did it solo and managed to thumb a lift back to the three sisters carpark. It’s pretty common for people to hitchhike upon completion if going solo.

A lovely walk and absolutely stunning car camp spot! Just a bit of inf...on the front of your cooker(not IN front😉)is a knob Adam...if you turn it, the flame on the cooker actually goes down!! I know! How awesome is that?? No more burnt pan!!🤣 Wouldn't be half as entertaining though.

check out my first scotland trip if youve not seen it did a ton of places from the south up as far north as skye
Don't forget the midge nets and skin so soft if going in summer. Scottish midges are notorious

west Highland Way starts in Milngavie just outskirts of Glasgow and finishes in Fort william, 96 miles can do it in 5 days
Longer is better 😉I prefer around 7 days

Had the pleasure of staying in Kinlochleven for a week in a holiday cottage,fab links to so many hikes and glencoe and Fort William so close aswell,and Adam where you parked here for the waterfall walk you literally walked past the cottage I stayed in

Brill vid as usual 👌Had to laugh when you said the Aonach Eagach is like the the Crib Goch. 🤣🤣🤣 It's nothing like the Crib Goch, in difficulty . The CG is like a walk in the park compared, 😏C.G. is just a G1 scramble. The Aonach ridge is a Grade 2/3 scramble, in some guide books it's classed as a moderate rock climb. It is the narrowest ridge on the UK mainland, Can be dangerous when wet and, the rocks can be very slippery, also in high winds. Once on the ridge, ridge, there no safe escape route. You can only keep going or go back. You have to have a good head for heights, because the exposure is very high, especially on the narrowest part, the Crazy Pinnacles, Some parts are less than 3ft wide with drops of around 500ft either side. You have set off early, give yourself plenty of time and take it easy. side. I've done a few times in summer and a couple of guided times in winter with the ice axe and crampons. Absolutely Brill 🥰
blooming heck i read thinking this sounds dodgy but maybe worth getting up and having a look and then u said ice axe crampons and winter lol nightmare, lol, glad i read this though needs a lot of research and if its a climb then its way beyond me
@@wanderingwhere There are loads of YT vids on the ridge. It's not a proper rock climb it something you have to take your time with. I get scared of heights thinking about it. How I overcome that? I think to myself, if what I'm scrambling on, was only 6ft off ground how worried would I be. It's like walking on a scaffold batten Lay it on the floor and you can walk on all day. I'm with you Adam, can't enjoy hot/spicy food, I prefer tasting the flavours, not feeling my mouth burning...lol! When that happens to me, I add something sweet, e.g. honey, sugar, otherwise you can add lime juice that helps calm it down too.
