- My Filipino Family and my girlfriend met my Canadian Aunt and Uncle for a special surprise lechon lunch!!
This was such a beautiful last day in the Philippines for my family. I couldn't of asked for anything better than to spend a little time with them in my home, and the home I was once "unofficially adopted" into. This video is raw and simple... but for me very powerful. It is moments in Cagayan de Oro with my Tito and Tita from Canada.
We visited my simple house, met my Filipino family here, spent time with my girlfriend and ATE A LOT OF LOCAL FOOD!
Happiness overload, and a first time experience for them in the Philippines!
Oh, and my uncle ate everything!!!! Even pig brains and blood!!! Gahh!

Thanks for being part of the simple raw week I spent with my Aunt and Uncle in the Philippines. This was by far the best day and moments for me. Just spending time in my home, meeting everyone, and seeing a little bit of my life. You will notice I didn't take a lot of footage of everything on this trip... that was because I didn't want to focus on creating videos... FAMILY FIRST :)

I am very happy that your Uncle and Auntie enjoyed every bit of their stay in Bohol, Camiguin and Cagayan de Oro, principally because of your superb hosting and the love and support of your Filipino family, friends and girlfriend. I sincerely hope that the next one to visit you wil be your parents. In Filipino culture, if the parents come to meet the girlfriend or syota, then the parents are asking the hand in marriage of the girl for their son or called pamanhikan.

Back when we first came to Canada, one of the things that shocked me was when kids call their aunts, uncles, grandparents and I have witnessed it one of the kids called their mom by their first name. But Kulas kudos for embracing the Filipino culture! 👏👏
