    Candy STOP teasing my appetite, I have never had it with smoke herring but I am definitely try this. Love smoke herring, karela in Guyana is much more bitter than the ones in North America, I do not like it squeeze either, cook the way you did and the juice is super healthy. On my way for lunch 🙏🙏🙏

      Hi Nia. I find that the chinese karela is not as bitter but the Indian one is the bitter one so I usually go for that..the smoked herring is a game changer it's super delicious let me know when you try it. Thank you for stopping by have a great day hon.

    Wait wait hold up. What are u doin to me Candy? Mi luv mi dhal with white rice & that pep sauce oh my oh my. Is that home made pep sauce? Now lets get to da karela 🤔🤔mi dnt like it, but when I do cook it for mi mum I will have a little, da betterness & mi oooh laaawwwddd. This menu looks good but I would have to drown out da karela with nuff dhal, 24hrs later is mi & latrine🤭😶. Tfs my dear.

    • @candythaglamcook
      @candythaglamcook  2 года назад +1

      Lol 😆 I know karela isn't everyone's favorite but you can do just do the salted fish with dhal. And yes the pepper sauce is homemade. Thank you for visiting hon have a great day 😊❤

    I'm just wondering why you didn't salt the kerilla and let it soak before you cooked it. I'm wondering if it would taste bitter doing it the way you're doing it

    • @candythaglamcook
      @candythaglamcook  Месяц назад

      @Gomesgirl I like the full nutritional value of the karela so I don't do anything to it. I like it bitter. Feel free to salt yours if you prefer.
