I liked the drawn up design for the fenders and hitch! Those cool dudes with quarter fenders and flaps aren’t so cool. I’d recommend whole fenders, that’s my plan eventually. I look forward to seeing your progress everyday!
I know, I really want a gooseneck but local prices seem to be shooting up while those 10 ton pintle trailers are often found cheaper... TRYING to keep my focus.
@@FabbedFun I somehow found an amazing deal on my hydraulic deck over, still cant believe i got it for what i did, just have to keep looking on marketplace and be ready to buy when the right deal comes up
@@HillsideAcres That's an ENTIRE hobby. And by having a gooseneck, you are really ready to start flipping equipment and vehicles if you can keep a little cash on hand.
How's she goin'? You're getting it done eh!!! The truck is looking good. There seems to be as many different ways to connect wipers as there are wipers eh!!! I think the wrap around fenders would be cool. Take care!!
I've been studying a lot of different bed or no bed designs, from a simple cab and chassis look, to a welder's body, to a tow rig fifth wheel look, to a flatbed... can't quite decide yet. Thank you for watching!
I think you should go all out and jack it up and make a monster truck out of it! Then you can drive around and crush sh@t. How about a backup camera for the hitch if you can't see it. Sometimes you just have to walk away from projects for a while. Take care
I'd love to find a 4x4 medium duty truck and do exactly that, but most of those are automatics. The backup camera is a good idea, but I'm not very good with a camera - as you can see in each video!!!
I could follow along very easy (no mechanical experience here) since I do know what wipers and a battery are! Lol. This really is a cool project you are working on. What was that extra piece around the battery?
I wouldn't throw away the idea of putting a flat bed on it. You may find yourself using it more often with a bed than a goose neck trailer combo. What about the removable goose neck ball into a flat bed design? Just some thoughts.

What about a big spoiler on the back and a cold air intake? Remember around '01 when every teenager thought VTEC Civics were drag cars?
@@FabbedFun 🤦♂️🤣!
Goose neck 🤔👍🏻, I guess a big trailer is coming in the future 😉🙂. Have a great one Logan 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
Maybe Santa will bring me one? I don't think the wife will buy one anytime soon lol...
Project is really coming along, Gooseneck is the only way to go! looking forward to seeing some towing!

Battery shut off switch. Works great if you have a vehicle that doesn't get driven often and may have a small power draw on battery.
@@loganhurst992 Gotcha! Thanks!

I'm kind of on the fence. An electrified barbed wire fence.
That steering wheel just looks like it wants to fall apart.
Yeah, it was bad!
