Give me back my time. Venezuela is on this list, yet many major navies aren't. India, Pakistan, Turkey, Netherlands. You're telling me Venzuela has more submarines than India?! With 2 submarines?!?!
Israel has 6 Dolphin submarines
I just did a quick google search and according to Wikipedia India has 2 Nuclear Subs and 16 Diesel-Electric Subs.
Not to mention Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Sweden has four boats, all operational ...
And Peru has SIX updated 209/210 series subs, and more under construction. Hardly a 'listing of each countries' subs".
Who made the list?? There are many countries missing, including India, with one of the largest submarine fleets in the world. And others like Chile, Colombia, Peru, South Africa, Pakistan, Greece, Turkey, Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, Bangladesh, Poland, Egypt, Algeria, and maybe a couple more.
Kenya is at position one with 109 subs!!
I guess it is the other way around: Position 109 with 1 sub?@@josephatmagangi3183
@lucasa.quiroga1246 to add to your supplementary list of countries omitted in the feature list should be Brazil.
India keep loosing theirs by diving with the hatches open!!! 😢
@@enetamuno5953 "others like" means that those are examples, didn´t say the list was complete. But, you´re right. Brazil should be in the list indeed.
God bless the US NAVY💙💙💙
The US military is really a devil, waging war everywhere, murdering civilians, and robbing local residents
The most advanced boats are controlled and operated by the US,UK and others in NATO.Their combined firepower, experience and technical expertise are unmatched.
Yup
I agree 100%.
They are the Best Blue Navy Countries.
they used too ....now miles behind ...
@@patrolmanracv Miles behind what?
don't know how to leave a blue heart. So, I will wish all submariners God's speed and bless you for your service to our country.

It is smart to somewhat understate your strength.
I am British and feel proud to belong to a nation which has a nuclear deterrent in the form of nuclear submarines yet have to take my hat off to the US for leading the world with its massive submarine force and navy as a whole and am glad our nations are on the same side.💙💙💙
Me too brother.
The UK the Aussies and the US have the most advanced and deadly subs the fleet of boomers can erase any foreign country defense system in a few hours
As an American, I too am proud and honored to be on the same side with the people of Great Britain.
You mean lap-dog?
@@SureshK-fm7cj swamp person ?
Are Swedish submarines too stealthy and too good to mention on your list? ;-)
It's a stupid list...
I am in the State of Ohio, USA. As a member of NATO, combined with our allies, I believe we are well protected by our submarine fleet potential.
Except if Nato countries start fighting each other. 😂
A pity you are not protected from your government.
Thanks for mentioning the rest of us; few Americans do.
Protected from who? lock ness monster? or the boogie whales? You are the real threat to global peace!
This list has nothing to do with the reality. My cousin work in submarine and he was laughing 😂….. Also other countries are missing from this list.
Thank you for your service, be safe and take care! Hope you, your families and friends are well!! 💙💙
💙💙💙💙💙💙God Bless the US Navy.
My youngest brother was on the Billfish 676 in the early eighties and I remember visiting him and going inside what a great feeling and experience the submarine was docked in San Juan Puerto Rico and he loved the Navy and is still proud to have served
It's not the number of subs, it's the punch they pack. The US is unmatched in that regard.
and #2 in that regard is Japan, and China is in for a hullofa rude awakening if there's war.
@@Richard-tq7xi First, I am totally against sending anything to Ukraine the clown regime. But, the US doesn't send it's best equipment anywhere unless under US command and control. Second, HIMARS is a very effective system but the Ukrainians can only be taught - too quickly -- on how to deploy and use them. Most likely different tactics and not as designed. That can be said for a lot of weapon systems except maybe the Javelins. They are like MANPADS and much more idiot proof. Though the US is conducting battlefield surveillance for Ukraine, that's mere advice and they don't always follow it.
@@Richard-tq7xi Egos and feelings mean nothing. It's all about firepower and weaponry. Leave your feelings out of this and actually do some credible research. You sound like a damn fool.
They are doing extremely well.@@Richard-tq7xi
@@Richard-tq7xi How stupid are you? Of course US subs are unmatched only stupid people dont know this. Russia should have easily rolled over Ukraine by now, looks like weapons are the difference, unless you are stupid. But it is not our war.

I'm watching this from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 I think the royal navy have more submarines and don't want to tell everyone due to security reasons.
Sweden has a number of very quiet submarines. In a joint exercise with the US one of these submarines managed to sink a US carrier not once but twice without being discovered. But this video doesn't even mention Sweden!
From what I know, the US and Sweden have always been either friendly or allies. What was the name of the exercise in which the 2 were enemies?
I'm not doubting you, I'd just like to know more. Thanks.
LOL, people do not understand how war games work.
That doesn’t sound very accurate it’s just a stupid game that would never happen in real life
I'm in Australia, when I served in our military we just got the Collis class Submarine. I'm looking forward to our 1st nuclear powered hunter.
The lemon class subs... and costed us a fortune.. Lets hope we never have to go to war with those subs.
I’m so relieved and it’s comforting to know the worlds military is still advancing on ways of destroying each other.
You mean, on ways to defend themselves from bad actors.
Real submarine warfare is like knife fighting in a large, dark warehouse. That is until someone uses active sonar. Then everyone sees everyone else. It's like turning on a kitchen light and all of the roaches have guns and don't like each other!
Missing a lot of submarine operating nations, aren't we? You mentioned Venezuela, which has two submarines that may not have gone to sea for years now, and you mentioned North Korea, whose submarines can only very charitably be described as rusted hulks (for the most part).
Why on Earth didn't you mention nations such as India, Norway, South Korea, Israel, Turkey, Netherlands, Sweden, Chile, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, and others? Especially when these nations have larger and far more combat capable submarine fleets? Heck, India even has two SSBNs, for heaven's sake!

Like France, India and Brazil to name a few.

A thought for the crew of the ARA "San Juan", the Argentinean submarine which sunk in 2017.
The weight of a submarine can be controlled by the amount of iron at the bottom of the hull. This has to counteract the massive buoyancy of the very large airspaces within.
The buoyancy of a submarine is controlled by ballast tanks that are filled with water to submerge the boat or blown with compressed air to force the water out to make it more buoyant. The pressure hull is where the submariners and all the equipment are. The external hull is what you see when looking at a sub. Between the two hulls is where the ballast tanks are located.
No.
You missed Peru, which has 6 updated 209/210 class submarines, and more under construction. Makes one wonder: what ELSE did he miss?

I am watching this video from Jamaica west indies.
The UK calls their submarine fleet the "SILENT SERVICE". I think that name can be used by both their submarine fleet as well as their surface fleet. In 1914 the Royal Navy was the uncontested naval superpower in the world. The could boast of having 82 battleships, 136 cruisers and 142 destroyers. Today the surface fleet is down to 21 ships. About the only thing positive going for the surface fleet is the commissioning of their two aircraft carriers (which I admit is a pretty damn big positive). ☹
Positive target with enormous bullseye for drones and hypersonic missiles, not to mention regular weapons like torpedoes, cruise missiles or aircraft!
@@pashapasovski5860 Seems like you could say that same about RAF Marham in Norfolk. Actually, any Royal Air Force base in Great Britain.
