I just don’t know what say - I’m lost for words seeing these students perform together as a unit Amazing, and I feel very privileged to have seen this video
Crap! The entire school? Can't get kids in here in the U.S. to even say good morning together, much less do something of this magnitude. This is awesome.
It's because of the deep meaning it offers that a nonchalant goodmorning will never be able to offer. Kids (humans in general) think that meaningful things are cool.
In NZ kids are taught to think outside the box, kids are encourage to explore and learned to its own. While in US kids are taught what not to do and what to do, because of possible insurance liabilities.
Proud to be have been part of PNBHS, went to every prizegiving and take in the atmosphere as seen in your video truly AMAZING. Well done to the young men of PNBHS and congrats to the staff who inspire them. Kia kaha tall poppies! Thank you for posting this Brandon.
What a fighting force to face! Legendry is not a word that comes even close this. From your brothers in England.🏴 Love to everyone in newzeland 🇦🇺
This fills me with joy! I wish students in the USA would adopt this tradition, what a great way to start each school day! GOD knows students can't start their day with a prayer!
That would be disrespectful to Maori and to the existing cultures of America that have already been crushed. Why not revive those crushed cultures instead.
@@ts9537 its a great idea and id prefer to revive our native American traditions and display them to the world and finally have true pride for our country
Ohhhhhhhhh, how I and so many many others, would love to see this pride and respect from the youth of America. We have become a nation of absolute hatred driven by politicians, news media and very very bad actors!!!!
You can learn the haka if I or someone showed you how, haka gives you a huge sense of pride (mana) honor, haka is open to the World not just my culture anymore and I love that, some of our "Relatives the 1st Nations People's of North America" do the haka ..
Chur this school is like the best at the haka if they entered anything like Te matitini or national kapa haka comps i wouldn't be surprised if they won keep making us proud boys tu meke
Hi growing up in new Zealand you love it and it's affection in certain circumstances so it's not intimidating , it depends if your on a battle field or prize giving lol we get used to haka in special occasions 😆
Back in the days before and after the colonists came to my country, thousands of warriors did do the haka before battle, when the white man came with his armies to fight us thousands of warriors did the war cry, the colonial soldiers had never seen a Maori person let alone his haka before and a lot of them peed themselves they got so frightened ..
KA MA-TE! KA MA-TE! KAO -RA, KAO -RA KA MA-TE! KA MA-TE! KAO -RA, KAO -RA TE-NEI TE TA-NGA-TA PU - -RU - HU -RU NA NEI TI-KI MAI * WHAKA -WHI-TI TE RAAA! AH... U - PA - NE ! AH... HU - PA - NE ! A HU-PA-NE! KAU-PA-NE! WHI-TI TE RAA ! HI !
these newer haka videos from this school seem lame. they’re slow and have no energy. i prefer the one from 2016 where the boys were going wild in the MPR.
This truly powerful but in a positive way it makes me feel proud and I am not of this culture. It is beautiful and shows great respect.
I’ve always wanted to do it but I’m not sure if I’ll get in trouble for doing it because it’s not my culture either
@@alexriggs6930who cares man. People who gatekeep things like that are often bitter people anyway.
The Haka is truly the BEST cultural thing I've seen on this Earth. ARGH it's just so awe-inspiring!
The quiet at the end just... RESPECT!!!!

Billy Roque New Zealand cool as fuck
US school sucks like most schools, so many students are dead inside in school.
It's because of the deep meaning it offers that a nonchalant goodmorning will never be able to offer.

The best America can muster is the kids in the bathroom singing the Halo theme
I have goosebumps every time I see young people doing Haka with so much passion. Well done guys.

Haka is fascinate, i love Haka,
You have to love something that allows students to blow off steam, is traditional and fun to watch
This is what we say in New Zealand we bring culture and diversity in one room with Respect to and from others.
Can someone please take me to new Zealand just for me to watch this even for 5minutes🥺🥺🙏
This is called CULTURE!
This energy , together in this place ... 🔥

🤪
Fanatics
Idiot
gisborne boys high is better
And haka for Tamatea is first uce
Clearly not in education it seems - Gisborne is spelled with a capital G. The end of a sentence also has a full stop.
The whole ritual is mind blowing.
It irrelevant which school is better, the fact that it's a cultural haka is amazing.
Why do you have to say that,,this is Aotearoa,,
The entire energy depends on the level of rage and energy in the Leader voice
