the only reason why ISIS is successfull is because they mainly fight vs pussys of iraqe army or civil people with no weapons... just look at the ISIS success of capture Mosul... less than 1000 ISIS stormed the city and 30.000 fully equipped Iraqe Army soldiers fleed like fucking pussys ..if they would have at least little balls they would have stoped the attack in 2 hours killing all ISIS ... but they prefered to run like rabbits ...
If ISIS face serious enemy like Peschmerga or Kurds they get into serious trouble even if they outnumber them and are better equipped (with capptured iraqe Army equipment). If any modern Army like russian, US, UK, Israel etc would stand up and fight against them it would be a quick and bloody finish for ISIS... the only reason why ISIS never attack Israel is, they know that Israel would completely whipp them from earth if they realy attack Israel homeland.

Eratiik yep, was for a rugby match in back in high school. We had a trimester of sport where we did a war cry each game. Would alternate from Aborigine to Maori cause we had a NZ guy on our team. Was so much fun!
It sounds insensitive/offensive to say it like that, but I completely agree. What an amazing and breathtaking culture. I normally wouldn't generalise, but I have never met a Maori I didn't like. Great, loving and welcoming people. -Australia.
I am not Maori, but I am of Samoan descent but born and bred in New Zealand as are alot of us! However, we are all Kiwi and the pride and respect in which we have in our country culture makes me so proud. Traditions that were carried on through school (school haka's etc) to cultural gatherings (ie Poly Fest).. there is no other country I would want to bring my kids up in.. we have all the riches right here in our own backyard :)

Kelli Smith for a bit of useless trivia, our soldiers in world war one got nicknamed kiwis after a shoe polish they used that sported the kiwi bird as its emblem by other Nation's soldiers. So we became known as Kiwis instead of NZers. Kiwi the bird is flightless with shaggy brown feathers so kiwi fruit were named after it due to its similar appearance. I always get asked why I call myself a fruit by foreigners online, so I checked up the origin of our nickname lol.

I can see in some of their faces that its true love and passion for this tradition. Its just a handful of them that aren't taking it seriously but the ones that are, are ALL IN. Fucking love the passion! I now watch Haka to get hype in the morning, before I study, or skate. It brings up emotions that I never usually comes up.

I think haka is a beautiful way to show the world the maori culture, thank you New Zealand for sharing with us such a powerfull root.
Only in NZ, ain't nothing like this anywhere else in the sporting world. This aspect of Maori culture gives NZ sporting culture its uniqueness internationally. Long live the Haka!

Try being an Aussie facing one when you're called up from the 3rd XV to play off the bench for the 1sts at Sourthern Skies and the Kiwi team, parent's and friends break into a haka after the handshakes and before kick off. Pretty much you think "whelp next 90 mins or so will result in a broken rib or 5 and a handshake afterwards". Still gotta do it though, wonderful thing.

The Haka is literally my favorite cultural tradition ever. Beautiful and intimidating are not words that usually go well together...
An intense cultural celebration depicting the Maori Warriors prior to engaging their opponents in battle! Beautiful to se the bravery displayed! Us Cubans would never engage in such a celebration, we would have to, prior to the first pitch, have a couple of chilled “Tropicals” and dance some Salsa to the beat of “The VanVans!”

My parents immigrated from The UK to NZ when I was 2 yrs old. Our 1st neighbours (still our family/friends today after a lifetime) were Maori. All my life I have been grateful to grow up in NZ, I travelled the world extensively & after 10 yrs in the US & the birth of our 1st son, I had to return to Kiwi land to do the same for my children. There is nowhere on the planet where you can truly grow up colour blind to another's skin shade like you can in NZ. That's its best quality :)

The haka is an ancient war dance and one of the most badass things ever.
i love the haka and im American, i dont necessarily get shivers or whatever but rather enjoy the passion and the synchronization of unity. Plus you have to admit. them burger king hats tho

To explain why this is so effective, let me give you an example: I'm from Sweden. Sweden *literally* has a term for how we *hate* taking up space- or being a inconvience. We're so hellbent on being "just average enough" that using our flag outside of sports-events is considered borderline racist. So here I was, a Swede, doing my military service. At the end of the first tought day we'd line up in the hallway, 48 strangers infront of our Captain. Then we'd sing the national anthem. Now, most of the EU rarely- if ever sing the national anthem. But here, in this cramped and silly hallway we were. 48 strangers, but each one could *feel* the vibration of the song. The tone. The tunes verbating through us all. The hairs in my neck stood on end. As did my lower arms hair. Hell, I'm pretty sure every godamn folicle on my body was at stand. I'm a staunch individualist but I will admit I've never felt that sense of belonging.
The HAKA is a perfection of this. Pure, unbriedeled energy galvanized by the amount of participants. I'm happy for those young people, to be able to partake in that and feel that sensation. It helps in understanding why people feel- and act as they do in such situations.

Right! I was thinking if some preppy ass rich kid that mommy and daddy sent to a good college tried to do a haka at me in hopes that it might frighten me. I would staple his nose to the back of his throat. Also sticking the tongue out is signifying cannibalism and it means "I'm going to turn you into my shit." Given that half of them survive off of starbucks and PF Chang is just another signification that you are not frightening anyone.
