Freddie was ahead of his time as an artist, he pushed boundaries even the judges were torn about, I think he will pave a new way in the tattoo industry, he has a unique style that is recognisable as Freddie and if you had a tattoo from him everyone would know it was a Freddie tattoo. He could turn skin into paint, combine styles that people wouldn’t naturally combine and from beginning to end learnt, improved, but stayed true to himself as an artist. The other finalists were amazing technicians too but their work could be replicated by any other top game tattooist out there. No one could replicate Freddie, he was a standalone and a leader for what tattoo could be and could become, he pushed boundaries and never played it safe. I hope the show brings him back again somehow because he has a lot to show the tattoo art world that hasn’t been seen before.
I can not get over DJ "I Live and Breathe Art" saying that Freddie's piece made him want to vomit and completely overlooking the issues on Bobby's black and grey piece. I'm so tired of him as a judge when he is so biased against anyone who isn't his buddy or on his team.
Considering how he won his third season on such an "out there" tattoo I was shocked he was so against Freddie's style. Honestly I agree with you, he is way too cut and dry as a judge and he contradicts his judgments from week to week. Without a doubt one of the best tattoo artists, but the blinders are clear as day with his critiques. I hope they don't bring him back next season.

DJ’s last ink master win was a crazy and unflattering explosion of weirdness and confusion smacked onto someone’s back. Yet, he won on that tattoo and then becomes a judge, now judging Freddie himself for doing something out of the ordinary, so much to the same effect? I am literally so fucking confused. Lost respect for DJ after this. Nikko and Ryan were thoughtful about their approach, and props to them. Team Freddie.

bobby did the safest route to win. not too creative but not too overwork. just plain, simple, trial and tested tattoo arts. jon overdo his masterpieces becoming too ambitious. those extra effort do harsh critics than appreciation. freddie try to over impress the judge, creativity-wise it looks impressive but lack the simplicity of the tattoos to speak for itself without him pointing out his motivation. when the jury of peers unanimously pick bobby, i knew he will win. but overall, this season is the WEAKEST. we need more versatile and competitive artists to join. also, we need judges that are strict and harsh in pointing out the weakness and strengths in every tattooes.

The sword wasn't finished as an example on one of his final canvas. Same color palette every time pretty boring. Struggled with any other style of tattooing outside of new school. Suspect judging form DJ just d riding. Love him as an artist though. DJ people could say your last W was vomit worth depending on who is looking at it. Great season bad ending IMO.

Bruh Ryan’s implants go haaaard. But for some reason right from the start the way Bobby interacted with the other past winner judge who picked him to be on his team I knew they were buddy buddy and it was easily more easy to read as rigged compared to like when they let Ryan win in season 8

Josh Payne walked in like a p*mp angel. And Shane had the best comment about that woman slapping you across the room. I think they picked a good winner. It was 3 mediocre tattoos but mediocre wins when 2 other f*ck up on their end.

What I don’t understand is how they kept saying it’s anatomically incorrect for Freddie’s lady figure… you know that there are woman who are dwarfs that look like that and saying that it made them want to vomit is so wrong…. There are woman who look like that in real life and don’t deserve the reactions to their body that they get just because they are a dwarf like come on, yes it was out there but it wasn’t as dramatic as they made it and Freddie hands down was a stronger artist the entire competition than Bobby

I give him props for taking a risk, but I don't think he pulled it off. Freddie was awesome, but he did the same scibbly BS all competition, so don't call Bobby a one trick pony. His 3 tattoos were better overall than Freddie's. Kudos to both, but the right guy won
I agree, but if they switched to canvas painting tomorrow then Freddie would become an art icon and Bobby would fade into the background. Freddie has the kind of artistic mind that is only seen once or twice per generation. I was not a fan of his work for the first half of the show but near the end his style started to really show and it's hard to say he is like any other artist alive or dead.
Freddy met all the challenges as close as he could and threw in his little signature. Overall ink masters either of them maybe not but Freddy tried and was well rounded. Not Bobbys fault Freddy was robbed fair play to DJ and Bobby I can't say I wouldn't be biased if my boy was gonna get 250k lol
