Facts, holley has ecu issues with the sniper ( it went up twice on mine the first time cost me 2400 after it was all said and done with) every tome someone with a RUclips channel has an issue they send them either the new sniper or like one guy got everything you can imagine for his crate motor plus the whole sniper 2 system, distributor, hyperspark ignition down to plug wires. Smh, i work for a living and i spent like close to 3000 on everything. They couldn't even fix there ECU because it was out of warranty for free. Now i just sent it back again, its under warranty but since its been 11 months i have to pay for shipping. I used to like holley, but im not so sure anymore, they don't care about the little guy. Sorry for the rant, if anyone taies the time to read this do not buy the sniper at least the first gen.

Man...since im on my 13th clutch in my 5.0...from 1989 when the stock and then the Motorsport clutch wouldnt hold my first N2O Works kit in third...I put in 3 New clutches that weekend till i got a Borg Warner Super Brute to finally hold and i won a few races...till now with about 675rwh..with a custom plate from Walt at Pro Motion and disk from Mcleod...that holds well....im just suggesting to move forward with the New clutch your buddy got ya...because once they blow through from power or rear main leaking hot oil fumes on your clutch...they dont ever really come back 100%. I glue all my rear mains in so they stay dry...then torque wrench the pressure plate down...yes it makes a difference....go get your flywheel ground..not turned...lube your splines a tiny little bit so your disk isnt trapped in them when you push the pplate in. I pack a little extra grease in my new throwout bearing if they skimped on it..then wipe it clean then micro skim the face with grease for the fingers..lasts way longer guietly. Pull the fork and clean and grease the pivot ball too.....Use a Ford OEM stock cable from a 1995ish (will be cheaper than an 1989 cable).. so your cable will rout good..few zipties...wrap the cable with heat wrap next to the header..tie it away...and you must use with a firewall adjuster...and quadrant. Take it for a ride to get the engine and whole clutch and flywheel hot all the way and Do some clutch slipping in a lot or your house ..
..stoplights etc...to seat the disk a little then let it Cool off and go do it again...heat cycles help temper the flywheel and the pplate and seat both sides of the disk..before you ever beat on it and it might hold them banging power shifts you like...if you dont rush it..and break it in some...
Do not get it so hot you smell it or its ruined..im talking the slipping a first time stick driver does...you know...seat it...then cool it off from your cruise back to cold..then go out for another break in session...till you feel like its biting decent from dead stops....you can feel it change...like fresh brake pads start to bite..when you launch it a little.

Nope even though I’ve known people who have…I almost bought an 83 GT back in ‘92? that had an old school 377” windsor stroker/top loader/4.33 geared 9” rear but alas it didn’t work out…and in 99’ I ordered a Jericho but never used it and ended up selling it 😵💫…for me I’ve gotta have the OD as I still drive my stuff to the track, if that ever changes then a side saddle would be an option just to run a vertigate cause they’re cool🤙🏻
I think you would be into it more if it was all one color. Most of your stuff looks cool with mixed matched colors. It looks tough, but the way it is now, half the car is red and the other half flat black. I love the car but not digging the look either. I'm liking the videos though. Keep'em coming Tussin.
