Erard pianos are known to sound like "water", and are very clear and have a very distinct sound. Honestly, these pianos make big brands like Steinway and Fazioli look like trash. Erard was the piano of the composers: Beethoven, Ravel, Wagner, Liszt, and so many I cannot begin to even list them all for you. I'm glad you have heard this recording!
