Hi, really depends on the standpoint but most people see south vista point better. There is also one location on top of the hill which has a greater view of the Golden Gate Bridge . We will go there soon so don't forget to like share and subscribe so you won't miss our posts :) Happy Watching and Stay tuned for our next episode
i have an intriguing question.. until now i am still confused why it's called Golden Gate whereas it is explicitly showing bright red color. Any idea how it came about?
Hi, just to answer your question, the Golden Gate Bridge gets its name not from its color but from its location. The bridge spans the Golden Gate Strait, a narrow waterway connecting the Pacific Ocean to San Francisco Bay. This strait was named by U.S. Army Captain John C. Frémont in 1846, who described it as a "golden gate to trade with the Orient," referring to its strategic importance for commerce and exploration. The bridge's color is actually called "International Orange." This vibrant reddish-orange hue was chosen for several reasons: Visibility: The color provides excellent visibility for ships navigating in the frequent fogs of San Francisco. Aesthetics: It complements the natural surroundings, including the blue water and sky. Protection: The paint protects the steel structure from rust and corrosion. Despite its color, the name honors the strait rather than the bridge's physical appearance. Hope this helps. Thank you. Happy Watching. Be sure to enable [CC] for more information and best experience
To answer your question, No unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the Golden Gate Bridge itself, but they are allowed on the eastern walkway and in the surrounding area
