Astonishing. I have never heard anyone sing a better rendition of Roy Orbison's classic song, 'Crying'. A very haunting and brilliant version. Flawless vocals and notes.
I would put this singer alongside the likes of, to name a few - Dusty Springfield, Karen Carpenter, Evan Cassidy, Amy Winehouse. Never heard of her before but I am now a big fan.
She will go right to the top - if properly managed?

Beautiful voice, I admire her effortless delivery, but the echo effects here are distracting and not my cup of tea. Lauren has a pure voice and I prefer her singing 'Forever Blue', 'Something' and her single 'Through the Night'. Can't wait for her album!

No it's not. And it's not her interpretation. The problem is that she hits a lot of slightly flat notes.
She's stunning, but I can't help but wonder what James Allan brings to the performance, sitting there earnestly with his sunglasses looking like a Johnny-Borrell-come-lately.

People don't seem to notice that, but yes. Nearly every upper note is a little flat. She has a pleasant voice otherwise, but it needs tighter control, especially for a demanding song like Crying.
