She has one of the best voices ive ever heard!! Its almost lazily sung, slightly behind the music, similar to Dusty Springfield, great music too with a sort of french 60's feel!! thanks for posting this track...Ghostly song, makes my hair stand on end!!

Such a glossy, classy, laid back song, great music arrangement with strong retro 60s feel, and a superb voice singing tunefully.

This comes on the radio and it makes me stop it's just so warm and rich to listen to. I can hear tones of Zero 7 and delicate kd lang sound. Brilliant

Ren is beautifully talented. Cannot wait for her album in April. First heard her on Janice Long and heard her interviewed yesterday on Radcliffe and Maconie. A lovely little girl from Salford,you wouldn't believe it was the same person who gave us this amazing voice. One to watch and adore

Well I listened to it again and yes there is something of La Springfield but mostly I get a feeling that I get when I hear her version of Sunny. The tune when Dusty sings Sunny one so true , I love you is similar to this song when Ren sings roughly the same lyric.

Yes, i was driving and this came on, had to pull over. Typical R2, never gave the name of the artist, so googled 'through the night' in hope and up it comes. Great song, with a very 'sixties' feel to it, i know, was there, so old and creaky now, but what a great song amidst some very dubious stuff indeed. Pretty girl too. Good on her.

Ok, Just heard her on BBC R2, live.
She composed this - or at least wrote the words
She sung it with THAT voice
She also sang, live, a cover of "Crying" that was outstanding
and last year her back was broken, 2 displaced completely vertebrae, expected to be at least paraplegic or quadriplegic but was doing bicycle wheels in her bed after 1 month.
And she is only 21 ...
That's what we do here in England, Give great music to the world ...............

I sure wish she would get that breakout single. This should have been it. It's a terrific AC type of song and well worth discovery. Okay, they've tried everything to get her more noticed so I can't fault those efforts. The only thing I can suggest is to try America and release this song over there and see if it can get some AC airplay.

Ren reminds me of KD Lang, Lana del ray, Adele, Liz from Coctau Twins well many I can't remember. A bright future that didn't need XFactor.
