I'm finding this video quite bias honestly. is it not a coincidence your a lethbridge realtor highly favoring your home town for your own financial gain. I would love to hear an opinion from a realtor in the red deer area on the comparison between the cities to see what his number tally would be.

Welp, most of the video was stats… and they don’t lie :) but watch till the end when I say that these points are meaningless. Don’t make the decision on just my video alone

Myself and the family are hoping to move by next year. We are in love with the stranville living builds. Our 2 bed + den condo on Vancouver island is worth more than new housing builds in Lethbridge. A house is much better to raise the family.

This was a conversation I had with people two years ago when I was looking to move to one of these. Wish I had this video at that time. I do not regret Lethbridge one bit! The chinooks and proximity to multiple mountain areas was the deciding factor.

Having lived in both cities, I have a few comments. Your video mentions "Chinook winds" and how they are great for bringing in warm weather during the winters. This is certainly true. But you fail to mention that Lethbridge is one of the windiest, if not THE windiest city in Canada. Those winds are brutal and can suck the life of out you after awhile. Many people leave Lethbridge because they just can't take the wind anymore. Red Deer does have a true winter climate, with the snow and colder temperatures. However, it does not have that year 'round crazy wind, so I feel the climate in RD is actually better. Also, it means residents can enjoy various winter activities, whereas the constant freeze and melt in Lethbridge doesn't provide the base of snow to do so. One must travel to Crowsnest area to snowmobile, ski, etc. Lethbridge can also be extremely hot in summer, which some people may not like -- but others may love. RD has considerably more parks, walking/cycling paths and overall outdoor and indoor recreational options within the city and with close vicinity. There are no rattlesnakes in RD, it's a much greener area than Lethbridge and its central location means RD has close proximity to Calgary or Edmonton and all that they can offer. Lethbridge is a lovely city, but Red Deer has more to offer in the way of shopping, restaurants, recreational pursuits, access to international airports and overall location. But to each his own!

How is the business over there if we want to move and start business

@yadwinderkaur8307 New businesses are popping up all the time given the growth of the population. Depending on what the business offers as the something unique and desired, it could do well.
