Most of the people even arguing iPhone vs Andriod don't know about or use the full capabilities of their phones. People just want to take selfies and open up instagram to post them.
It's just because Android isn't opened by anyone and iphone is so they can get rid of your storage and delete apps on that they don't like just because they don't pay apple and they can go through your files legaly
I think it would be very uneventful because modern phone cases are so good both phones would probably take no damage if they use a decent case.... I could be wrong but I imagine both would have no permanent damage to the phones.
It always happens that way. Honestly most iPhones I've been are shattered. I've replaced the glass on my daughters iPad 3 times. One drop and it cracks and falls out. My galaxy has been through alot and there's not even a chip in my front or back glass.
Not saying the Samsung better but I've had mine since 2018 and I've dropped it in everyway possible and it still only had 1 crack from when my little brother threw it on the concrete
Android phones are literally invincible to everything but themselves. I've dropped my old LG G3 a billion times, in a concrete bandroom, bouncing off of multiple 2 foot drops, and it never even cracked. Kids drop their IPhone X's from the lunch table and would be picking up the motherboard off the ground. That LG later fried itself updating on a bed.
Same dude when I had a note 5 I accidentally fucking drop kicked it once when getting out of a car and all that happened was the stylus ejected although tbf i had a beefy case
@@agentv1240 anyone Android phone with a curved screen was indestructible. I had a phone get run over and it still turned on, u just obviously couldn't see or do really anything lol. And the ones with curved screens are alot less durable but still pretty strong
I really like the back colour changing ish effect on all the newer android phone's. It's quite pretty. My father has a red to yellow one, my mother a white to rainbow, I think, sister has blue to yellow. And myne is blue to rainbow. I love it
My grandma have samsung phone since 2015. Like 3 months ago she accidentally drop it into a well with a depth of 3meters, but it still working fine by now, no damage, it really amazed me.

@@jimmylives not even remotely. Go to a third party repair shop, they're usually very good. Samsung and Apple both have parts available, but an Apple screen costs about $100 less than a whole new phone at around $700, where the Samsung screen is around $300.
Well yes and no. You will definitely need to buy a lot of parts to fix an iphone screen, but there are tons of generic 3rd party products for apple as opposed to Samsung. It would really be the case that the iPhone would be irreparable since apple is making impossible to replace anything and still have full functionality

I've had both an iPhone and a few Samsungs, and I've dropped both of them numorous times, the only one that ever had any substantial damage was the iPhone, who's screen shattered, but all of the Samsung got nothing worse than a small ding on the corner or a scratch or two
Older iPhones are tough. I’ve dropped an iphone 4 without a case onto tile flooring and nothing happened. But when they switched to the back glass again they’re not as good. The only thing getting better with iphones is the camera and people still argue that newer is better
That why I don't run down the hype, I'm good with my galaxy, I have this from 2014 with jus one crack on the screen, it had a nick in the glass after falling on a sharp pebble and it fell hard again on the edge and it cracked right across the screen where the nick in the glass was, its outdated but still going...
My dad has the second iPhone and dropped it so many times and replaced it like 5 times then has the Samsung galaxy s edge note 4 or something and dropped it so many times he was getting glass cuts from the screen. He then processed to get a new phone the sansung galaxy s note 9 I think and he dropped that too 🤦♂️ it has a small crack on the back and scrapes around the camera

Reminds me of how diamond was easily shattered to pieces Just because something is harder, doesn’t mean it’s tougher. Harder things are just less prone to scratches. Yet here I am using an iPhone.
Both iphones use the same glass and ceramic shield but it is generally thought that the iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max’s slight added weight makes a bigger impact force, thus causing what you see here.

I wouldn’t say there’s a crazy difference from the two really. You’d have to repeat these kind of experiments multiple times to really see if ones better than the other, one test really doesn’t tell you anything.
@@agamikhwana8596 they’re right though. Also these tests mean literally nothing. There are so many variables when dropping a phone that your results will be different every time. One test the iPhone could land on the corner (the worst place to drop phones) and have more damage than the Samsung that dropped flat, or vice versa. Better testing would be pressure testing the front and using the mohs scale of hardness. Much more reliable than dropping.

Yes but the differences in the cracks from the first drop may make each subsequent drop either worse or better. Not being a fan boy but you could have very different outcomes if you did this experiment a few more times with fresh phones.
One day I threw my iPhone 13 Pro Max at a wall very lightly while in a video chat with my friends. I had “20 Feet Drop Protection Case” and “8X stronger #1 Screen Protecter.” What happened was the Phones screen itself shattered and not a single other thing was damaged. It still worked tho… any thoughts on how my wall doesn’t even look like it got touched by a baby’s light touch and it freaking broke into practical pieces?

It's really not a surprising that the Samsung held up androids have been known for there relative durability most notably top brands blackerry samsung etc. Not to mention other things like battery life and what not... although iphones are smoother perhaps a little faster overall androids are just more user friendly and practical for everyday use.
I got an XR that ive had for 4 years now with a shitty case and no screen protector, ive droped it down stares multiple times, concrete etc (im a very clumsy person -v-) still no cracks and works great :] this is my first phone so idk about other brands n shit but ik my parents had Samsung phones before these and they hated them. They worked like shit and seriously regretted going with a cheeper option (we struggle with money) but ive heard of people with exact opposite stories so i say go with whats best for you :)

For me personally I only use the iPhone and other Apple products because I use an iMac for my home computer. I just have had good experiences with connecting everything in my house to each other so I can run the entire house off Apple Home off of any devices I’m using whether it’s my Apple Watch or it’s my iPads or my MacBook even if I’m away from the house and working on it. I know there’s tons of other companies that have awesome products that are equal or even better then the Apple stuff it’s equivalent to. And cheaper! For me though it’s the ease of use and the connectivity to everything I have that makes the choice for me as to what I buy. Locking doors, turning on/off lights, putting the AC/heat on in the house…are just a few of the things I can literally do from my watch! I’ll stick with what I know I think. But no doubt Samsung has some really cool stuff on their phones that I wish Apple did!
Watch the videos closely. The Samsung is consistently having all pressure applied to the same singular side of the phone when it’s dropped, whereas the apple phone is having pressure evenly distributed around the entirety of the surface. This ABSOLUTELY impacts how the phones will “look” afterwards. There’s a reason this wouldn’t ever be considered a controlled experimental comparison.

Note 20 ultra was taken to a similar test.. Actually it did not have even a single scratch but the iPhone on the other hand..

Its broke my heart to see the things that you want/treasure are broke like that
For me personally I only use the iPhone and other Apple products because I use an iMac for my home computer. I just have had good experiences with connecting everything in my house to each other so I can run the entire house off Apple Home off of any devices I’m using whether it’s my Apple Watch or it’s my iPads or my MacBook even if I’m away from the house and working on it.
I know there’s tons of other companies that have awesome products that are equal or even better then the Apple stuff it’s equivalent to. And cheaper!
For me though it’s the ease of use and the connectivity to everything I have that makes the choice for me as to what I buy. Locking doors, turning on/off lights, putting the AC/heat on in the house…are just a few of the things I can literally do from my watch! I’ll stick with what I know I think. But no doubt Samsung has some really cool stuff on their phones that I wish Apple did!

Rather than breaking it you should have donated it to poor kids who weren't able to attend the online classes in this pandemic
Watch the videos closely. The Samsung is consistently having all pressure applied to the same singular side of the phone when it’s dropped, whereas the apple phone is having pressure evenly distributed around the entirety of the surface. This ABSOLUTELY impacts how the phones will “look” afterwards. There’s a reason this wouldn’t ever be considered a controlled experimental comparison.
If anyone sell a 50% broken and 30% phone. Which one you want to buy. Absolutely a new one !
