Even SGA said that they are willing Gilas to loan Abando and RJ pero because kaunti nalang yung time, wala nalang. Kaya naman tayo makipagsabayan sa mga european teams eh, kasi tignan mo yung score natin kontra Georgia and Brazil, they are high ranking teams pero yung lamang na is not that far. Yung pumapatay lang talaga sa atin eh yung turnovers eh, if tignan mo yung statistics ng 3 games ng Gilas, more than 20 yung TO nila compared sa mga nakalaban nila na 8 lang. Even sa Latvia, if I am not mistaken 8 lang yung TO nila samantalang sa Gilas is umabot ng 20, sadyang na swertehan lang tayo kasi laki ng lamang natin.
If the coach was not a PBA coach, very easily the phil team wud have won the OQT. It's really a conflict of interest bcoz the PBA wants the nat'l team to lose, so the players will end up in the PBA. Maybe thats the reason why the PBA took the coaching job from tab baldwin, so they can control how far the phil team can go in FIBA and olympic tournaments.
