- Coming later this month is a spectacle of death and destruction! @VanguardTactics joins forces with Play On Tabletop to command the brave Space Marines against the threat of two Tyranid tendrils combining to spell the disaster to humanity. Dice Tell Amazing Stories! This is the sequel to one of the most successful stories we have told here at Play On Tabletop.

it's so cool that we get to see another big Tyranids vs Space Marines Battle. Which is funny because it's was a Tyranids vs Space Marines Feature battle that was the first video i watched from you guys, can't wait for this to come out.

Had been thinking it would be cool to see a livestream where you had a massive imperial guard army vs a tyrannid army that would get more and more units each following turn, with the only real mission to simply to survive as long as possible. (Maybe some additional objectives like retrieve data or like downed pilots to make sure its not _just_ hunkering down and blasting everything.) Then, have the superchats to aid the imperials with increasingly strong units (like sister of battle, space marines, custodes all the way up to knights and maybe even the titan?). Might have been hard to balance and there are plenty of people would want to add more tyrannids instead of helping the imperials, but im sure you guys could have figured that out.
I'm thinking this apocalypse battle might just come close enough to scratch that itch! Love it :)

Hype! Also quick question, how long has this been on the works, when did you record the footage and how many hours did the game take. I would assume the game was split between multiple days given the amount of units.
Game was roughly nine hours of footage, it was shot in one day. I believe we shot everything a little over a month ago.

One thought/question have you guys ever played or heard of one page rules? I just found it myself I don't know much yet but at cursory glance it's got different factions then 40k and more but their are some like dark brothers that are dark angels space Marines and then theirs jackhals that have no 40k comparison, theirs also the dau union that's basically tau, but then theirs saurians with no 40k comparison as well.
I was wondering if you'd guys maybe try some matches? maybe have a Warhammer army fight a fantasy army?
The game mechanics are faster supposedly and easier to learn.

Im just getting into warhammer. Watched more stuff for a long time but just starting to like the models and game. I want to start painting an army of chaos marines but I have this weird thing in my head where I wanna do a custom color scheme. Essentially creating my own. I feel weird putting naked characters into that tho. Do I need to get over this to have a viable army or can I work with the more “generic” units.
