i remember playing this for the first time and being so scared oceanhorn is just scary theres nothing else to say its just scary
i'm back here cus i have finished oceanhorn 2.
so basically this game are continueing plot from oceanhorn 2. kinda mindblowing to me.
I never would have guessed the flute.
Actually u can beat the oceanhorn without the shield it's possible if u use trencher boots to dash (for android) u could hit it's leg and it will fall therefore u can destroy "the thing" at the sides
How can i get boots?

Good old days
Our hero really slow when running to hit the side power. It would be easier to play with game pad and joy sticks.
However, if you play this game on iOS just like me, you can try this tactic to finish, as I failed so many times to find out:
1. Try to narrow the laser beam to the leg, just like this video.
2. When the machine downs, stand next to the leg got hit and keep stabbing it quickly on the joint -> machine will down again, then you can easily run close and smash the side power
3. When machine up, put on the shield immediately as it will shoot laser beam real quick. Repeat the routine.
The key is to keep moving side by side. Hide behind those walls on the right side of battle field and use Cure spell if need
After about 6 falls of the machine, you will beat it completely
I played using iPad, it also works with brown shoes (the shoes that makes run faster)
Im using an gamepad in my android tv and its so easy to beat

After playing Oceanhorn 2, I came back to see the ending of the first game because I forgot the ending and holy shit, the second game really is a prequel

Something I never quite got was who Dark Apostle was. Is he the machine Mesmeroth bound his soul to, or was that Oceanhorn? If it’s the former, it’d explain why he shows up here at all.

The plot is garbage, wonky control mechanics, and still the same lame voice acting lmao rip. I played both and tho the first game plot is not winning no awards, the game overall was better put together, and felt finished.

Oddly enough, while the second game looks better and obviously had more production put to it, the first one feels more like a finished title. Neither are perfect, but this one had much better boss battles. And certain things just made more sense.
