I’m waiting in my hotel room in Seattle and about to go see The Rolling Stones for the 6th time and probably the last. I’m 75 years old and saw their 1st concert in America in 1965. They Are the Greatest Rock and roll band Ever.
The Rolling Stones 🎉🎉are simply the best I've seen them 3 times and each time they always put on an amazing performance and an awesome show. I'm a Stones fan for life🎉🎉

Steve Jordan is an amazing drummer. When you listen to this performance of Start me up and compare it to others with Charlie there is an audible difference. It could be the whole package is different as well? Maybe it’s by design? It’s different.
Mick is not too far behind Joe Biden in age. Look at him! He sings better than McCartney. Can you imagine old Joe up there? Mick Jagger is a force to be reckoned with.

They must need the constant buzz of performing live for a huge audience, and do not have enough interests outside this band to make their days enjoyable. I would not see them at this point ( I would not want to see them beyond 1978 tour), but I have no problem that people still enjoy this.
Honestly - you should go see them at this point, too. I saw them at Hyde Park in ‘22 and it blew me away. The fact that someone of any age could go see the freaking Rolling Stones in 2024 is something we can’t take for granted.
