  • A hairline that is natural, appealing and esthetic is what the hair loss sufferer seks and what the hair transplant surgeon seeks to accomplish. Dr Bhatti describes all about esthetic natural hairlines that commonly exist and the hairstyles that best complement a receding hairline.
    Putting it simply, the hairline is the fringe or the leading edge of the frontal mop of hair on the head. It is the transition from the forehead to the hairy scalp. Hairlines your personality since each hairline is unique. Just like thumbprints, no 2 hairlines are the same. Our hairline is what it is due to our inheritance, our genetics, our age, our hormonal profile and the shape of our skull.
    But hairlines are not static. Like the changing sands of the shoreline, the hairline is constantly evolving. Even in those who do not have androgenetic alopecia, hairlines set back with passing years as we age. The same hairline that is low and looks pleasing in adolescence, will in middle age look juvenile.
    So what are the common types of hairlines?

    MIDDLE HAIRLINE:
    HIGH HAIRLINE:
    WIDOW’S PEAK HAIRLINE:

    Wow! So much new things to learn. Thanks for sharing your wisdom doc! I knew the importance of hairline and a dense frontal tuft because my frontal tuft used to be so dense that it gave such an appealing and different look compared to many others. But a bad transplant to fix my hairline like 8 years ago at a different clinic and caused not only in me having a bad hairline but the shock loss and trauma made the front tuft to lose hair as well. My father had his thick frontal tuft even in his later years though the other places of the head went bald.
    Guess you won't have a problem with designing a hairline with a prominent frontal tuft. Hopefully, I will meet you later this year and get my hairline, dense frontal tuft back, doc!

    Why back sides of hair not go in anagen, telogen phases as I never experienced any hairfall from back side

    • @hairtransplantinindia
      @hairtransplantinindia  3 года назад

      Hair loss continues from the back as well. Any living hair will go through telogen phase. What you are seeing is excessive shedding from the top of the head and magnitude of hair loss does not distract you towards hairfall in other regions.

    Hello sir, ideally how much should be interval between two session of HT?

    • @hairtransplantinindia
      @hairtransplantinindia  3 года назад

      If the sessions have the same donor and recipient areas that have been previously worked upon, i would give a mminimum gap of 6 months for things to settle and the result of previous hair transplant procedure to be obvious. The skin takes this much time to modulate the resultant scarring and also we need to see all planted hairs grown out to prevent damage in the second procedure.

His corners and some par amount crown is thinned out.I am sure that same pattern is going to be occur in my case also. As I know how my hair line is going to recede by looking at my father's hairline. • @hairtransplantinindia
      @hairtransplantinindia  3 года назад

      For nerve damage to happen, the knike has to go quite deep to cut the occipital nerve! If the doctor is an old hand at FUT I do not think this can eer happend. Numbness after a hair transplant, be it FUT or FUE is always present but recovers maximum y 3 months- often 6-9 months in a small percentage of patients. Is the numbness getting better with passage of time?
