Thanks Armory Sargent ! That is how I learned to field strip my AR 12 Panzer !! For real bro !
This looks exactly like mime and I've been ha wing a hell of a time finding out with generation mine is, haven't been able to find help ANYWHERE on getting a attiaght answer. So if this video is showing a gen 3, then that definitely has to be whay mine is. Your video has solved a huge mystery I've been trying to figure out forever than even the panzer USA website and exchanging some emails with them didn't seem to be able to help me with figure it out. So thank u very much for that number 1, and 2 nine was missing the manual so I've needed a proper takedown instruction as well.
Good to hear Mr. Sinister. Glad my video helped. Thanks for watching and liking!
Best video I seen on how to break down and clean this gun
Thank you so much for watching, liking and commenting.
Awesome video..I took mine out today n shot flawless w the 5 rd magazine..the 10 rd mag.not so good..maybe it needs broken in..took it home n watched your video n cleaned it up ..thanks
Great video, thorough and easy to follow!
jericstanford Glad to hear it helped you jeric! Thanks for watching and liking!
Quick and easy to follow. Can't ask for more than that. Great video.
Thanks for watching and liking. Happy Labor Day weekend!
Fantastic video! Thanks for getting this out there. I had posted a high level breakdown video on my page but I didn't go as far as separating the upper & lower. You did a much better job than I did and I'll post a link to your video on my page for everyone who's asking for the upper & lower separation vid. Nicely done!
Runnin Low Thank you sir! I appreciate the comment and linking to my video. Your breakdown was a big help in getting my video started. Cheers!
Runnin Low I also posted a “QUICK” video for those who just want the disassembly and reassembly. Thanks for the thumbs up!
Cheers and Happy Shooting! Keep the great videos coming. Glad my breakdown helped! It's all about helping each other out with this stuff!!
Thanks! Still need a upper-lower breakdown on the Gen-2 like your other video...
Very helpful, first time seeing your channel but I'll keep up with you and see how your journey goes with your panzer. Just got mine this week, and haven't put any rounds through it yet, I ordered a case of #4 27 buckshot to start with but the salesman at the outdoor store said he thinks the barrel is a rifle barrel and I should only shoot slugs. I didn't read that in my Manuel so I'm just going to use what I ordered this weekend for the break in. Enjoy....peace !!!
Thanks for tbe video! Great job! The Fo Muzzle break is actually not intended to give the appearance of a break though. It is a heat shield because the barrel gets so hot.
Yup. It is actually a heat shield. The Panzer manual calls it a flash hider. Most people call it a faux muzzle brake because many people think it is a muzzle break. But with a semi-automatic shotgun, anything covering the barrel is actually a heat shield. Once you begin shooting 5 rounds rapidly the barrel does get hot. With a 10 round magazine, it gets really hot. Thanks for watching and liking Blake.
Thank you! Got mine and the handle was not all the way tight and lost the nut holding the grip on. Luckily happened before I fired it
Great video, thanks 🍻
It’s real similar to RIA VR60 disassembly.
Nice thread protector
Awesome job my friend. Since when did they start putting the uppers on top of the lowers??? Oh my!! :)
LOL! I think it's a new concept. :-) Thanks Sal.
Perhaps putting the lowers under the uppers is new? :-)
Great job with these videos! Made it easy for me to breakdown and prep my new one when it arrived. Looking for a Muzzle Brake for this beast. Can you tell me if it is threaded with M22 x .75 or if not, what the threads are?
Tad Horowitz You’re welcome Tad! Sorry, I don’t know the thread size on the barrel for the faux muzzle brake. You might need to take it to a machine shop to determine the thread size. Thanks for watching, liking and sharing!
Iv got a question when I shoot the shell is ejected but the hammer doesn't reset so if I rack the bolt back and put another shell in it goes boom..with it unloaded I squeeze the trigger the hammer comes forward but if my finger is still squeezing the trigger the hammer follows the bolt but if my finger is off the trigger and I rak the bolt the hammer reaets
My shots gun. Came a part a bit different but I was able to get the the correct idea.
How do I put a picatinny rail on the underside?
I would like to commend you on a very descriptive and useful video. I’m am actually having an issue with fact that Panzer Arms has placed your video within their page that displays the PRO version. I am aware this is not at any fault of yours, but considering the PRO is very different, it may be something that should be mentioned to Panzer, to avoid someone that may not notice the obvious and get into a breakdown and not be able to return to original or worse break something attempting to improvise from what they started.
Again your video was great and unfortunately there does not appear to be even one single video or even a correct instructional breakdown in the original Panzer manual.
Yeah. I can't control what Panzer puts on their official website. Someone who owns a PRO version needs and has figured out how to disassemble their gun needs to make a video to help those owners. Or, Panzer needs to make one. Thanks for watching and liking my video.
MrMnmn911 I fully understand that it wasn’t in your control and think it is quite the compliment that they would use your video as reference on their primary site. I actually only mention to you in the comment form so some of the many out there that are very inexperienced and may read this and continue to look for a PRO specific instruction as well as there is a much higher probability of a message from yourself even getting read than a random unknown person as myself.
Nonetheless, You have some great contributions in videos and well edited. I may make a hacked attempted at putting together a similar video, on the PRO when I finish the complete breakdown to make sure I didn’t skip any steps myself. LoL
How can I remove the muzzle if it's being stubborn and not budging? I coated the connecting area with gun oil in hopes it somehow lubricates it.
Hmmmm. Have you tried using WD40? Also use a pair of rubber gardening gloves to get a better grip or covering it with a few layers of wide electrical tape, or something similar and using a pipe wrench on it...the tape would be so that you don't mar the muzzle/heat shield. Good luck. Let me know if you get it off and what you used and did.
THE QUESTION IS HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE STOCK FROM LOWER RECEIVER ? MY ONE IS WAY TO LONG AND I WANT A SHORTER ONE , I CAN'T EVEN HOLD IT PROPERLY ON THE SHOLDER
On this specific model you cannot change the stock from the lower reciever. If you are unable to use this shotgun safely I suggest you trade it or sell it.
Awesome vid but can you do one on replacing the stock? The stock on my ar12 is a little too long for me and I've seen that they have buffer tube adapters, but I have no idea on where to even begin
Hi Logan. This Panzer AR12 does not have a changable buffer tube. The lower and the butt stock on this Panzer AR12 is one piece.
@@MrMnmn911 okay that's what i was thinking too, but there are a couple of buffer tube adapters online that name the AR12 specifically and there is kind of a seam between the stock and the lower so I was staying optimistic
@@loganwitte3477 Really? I haven't seen any. Can you direct me to them?
@@MrMnmn911 gunindustrymarketplace.com/ar-style-shotgun-stock-adaptor/
Here's the main one I found, I guess it could be for the leader arms ar12 as they don't specify whether or not it's for the panzer
Wow - when I saw this : requirement to take apart the buttstock just to separate the upper from lower receiver -- that's a total deal killer! Made me look elsewhere for a shotgun. But my local shop had the newer PRO version in stock -- and this is not required at all. On my version (purchased 10/17/20) you do not have to take apart the buttstock at all -- the upper separates from the lower just by the two takedown pins - just like an AR-15.
Seems like they make changes to this firearm every year. All the user manuals are out of date even on their web site.
But the easier disassembly is good news for anyone looking at buying this in late 2020.
Wow! You do know you don’t have to separate the upper from the lower to clean the shotgun, right?
@@MrMnmn911 I suppose so - but it sure seems easier to separate them to clean, like I do with my AR. Glad they have changed the AR12 so I do not have to take apart the buttstock. Thanks again for the great videos on this shotgun!
Did you ever sort out the issue where this firearm failed to feed?
Hello. Yes. As many people have said after around 200-300 rounds it now seems to work great. I also used a barrel "polishing" technique that I believe also helped. I explain how to do this in my Panzer AR12 REVIEW video. You can what that here...ruclips.net/video/TV4_jfuKk4Y/видео.html
Have a Happy and safe Thanksgiving!
@@MrMnmn911 Awesome! Yes I saw that polishing part. Nervous to try it though 😜. Not American but thanks. Same to you and yours!
How much difference is there between the G3 and the G4
I don't know.
Have you ever taken apart the 5 or 10 rd mags? I want to paint them but don't want to break them in the process.
Joe Molina I haven’t. I’m sure there’s a video on YT though.
I can not get the bolt handle out! It’s driving me crazy. I’m following every step exactly
Contact Dan from Dan's Sporting Goods. I have a video posted on who to contact for problems with the Panzer AR12.
Im having the same issue. I followed the steps correctly and the charging handle will not pull out
I’m thanking about buying one of these, question- is the but stock interchangeable? Also the grip as well? Thanks
Daimen Ellenburg No. The butt stock is not interchangeable. The “lower” is 1 piece.
MrMnmn911 ok thank you
Can the butt stock be changed on this Shotgun? If so, could you please do a video on how the change the butt stock?
PS. Loved the video.
Hello. No, you cannot change the butt stock on this shotgun. Thanks for watching and liking.
I’m trying too cut mine off
@@slowassv8 why they are nice stocks
Is the pistol grip replaceable with other grips, like the magpul grips?
I'm not sure.
I'm trying to find out too. Don't like the smooth, plastic, feel on my thumb (trigger hand). I want to replace but can find no videos or instructions anywhere!
Do i have do all that to clean it after shooting it..?
It depends. I do clean my firearms after every shooting session. And yes, this thoroughly. But you don't have to. It is good to keep your weapons clean. Especially if you're putting a good amount of rounds through it. And, you don't want to put your weapon up for several months or longer without cleaning it. It keeps you from being frustrated of the gun not firing properly, due to it simply being dirty.
Also, it's good to know how to disassemble and reassemble all your weapons. But, the Gun Scrubber does say "High Pressure Spray Cleans Firearm Components without Disassembly" on the can.
Take your gun apart and see how much gun powder you clean off, without cleaning solvent, after shooting your 65 rounds today. You'll be surprised how dirty it can get. Especially when spending a good day at the range. Hope this helps.
Bolt stop won’t go all the way down, anyone with this issue?
Can you replace the stock with an adjustable stock?
No.
@@MrMnmn911 I'm waiting for my order to come in now. I was really hoping to swap the stock. Now I'm a little disappointed. But I'm still very excited.
Do you know of an adjustable stock kit I can put on this gun
No. The stock is molded to the lower, as I show in the disassembly. There is not way to separate them.
Does this shotgun have Aluminum lower and uppers?
Shawn Davis No.
yep,, you forgot to mention the bolt carrier release lever on the left side,,, you dont turn it you wont be able to take the bolt carrier out
Scott Russell I mention it at 0:20.
@@MrMnmn911 oppps,,, guess i didnt catch it,,, sorry,,LOL,,, i keep forgetting about it and wonder why the bolt carrier wont come out,,,LOL
Can you tell me how to get in touch with Panzer arms?
I bought this AR 12 and the magazines and very hard to load.
Panzer Arms is in Turkey. You'll have to contact the importer for any warranty issues. The importer is embossed on the side of the shotgun. You can Google them to find their phone number.

Thank you for your help.
This is not a gen3 at all.. this the fist version that was made.. the gen3 is full metal.. upper and lower are aluminum an there is not a lever to turn for take down on it
Adrian Jackson It’s a Gen3 . That’s what it was listed as when I purchased it. That’s what’s on the purchase invoice.
