Looks like you've got a better camera since you shot the viaduct trip. Very impressive viaduct and pity you didn't do some drone flying which would have shown it better. Know all about the Cornish gorse, which stopped me getting on top of the Wheal Liberty viaduct on the old St Agnes line.
Yeah I could have flown the drone but RNAS coldrose take a long time to respond as I've got to get permission from them to fly there because it's a flight restrictions zone
your videos are so amazing, I can't say that enough. Trying to ration myself as its tempting just to watch these all day! so much history; and where else in the country do you have this kind of raw, untouched history, the stuff you are capturing should be on TV, you bring all of this to life so well, and I love how you share family history and personal details that bring it all to life. Its a gift for me up here in Scotland to be able to discover Cornwall in this way. Keep doing this incredible work, you are just amazing!
Great video, will hopefully visit in a few months time. Not sure who owns it but an information board similar to the one at Portreath Harbour would be good as i am sure many people visit without your excellent knowledge. Thanks 👍
Yeah I believe it is owned by Cornwall council so as you said and Dave it should have a information board when you do come down I hope you enjoy your visit
Very interesting walk around, lot of history there! A bit better signage would help us all understand it a bit better though. Think park an chy put rope way in to bring there ore down there because there were short of water on there dressing floors. Any ideas on who mr Charles pengelly was?

I think he was in charge of the arsenic refinery or local Gentry that possibly paid for this millto be erected.
Seems Unity wood, wheal garland and wheal virgin got together to run the refinery.
So may be he was the manager.
