Was really cool to see you exploring somewhere that's just up the road from me. I love Tehidy woods and the secret garden. But sadly haven't been able to get out much recently. So this was a nice surprise. Thanks for this guys 👍😊👍
Welcome
Love the video of you guys.😊
Great video 😊
Great video 😊
Great video 😊
Only been down that road 20 years ago once but remember the petrol station lol. We went to see the big dishes.
Excellent return visit mate
Great video mate
Wow great should of had a light on the pole. Great evening mate.
Thank you mate
The standing stone is where the place gets it’s name from mate. As the stone resembles a dried up tree trunk. It used to be a lot taller and was put back up in the 1920s. I bet there is more to find in the undergrowth!👍
Dave I've learned something there mate we did
I'd say that's a marker. Perhaps a cartographic adjustment
Great video
Great to see inside again. Shame about all the graffiti.
Yeah I was there a few months ago mate and this graffiti was not there then m8
Great job 😊
Great video lovely 😊
Mark thankyou for taking me on your adventure these days you m8 are inspiration to me "i can see and visit all the places i know and enjoy,,,,, thanks a million m8....Ed
Welcome Ed
Very interesting video mark! Must of walked by that quarry and never spotted it🙂 I’ve heard too that the structural survey on the viaduct is good, just shows how well built it was in the first place! First train ran in 1887. Passenger service ended in 1962 and freight in1964. There doing great job at helston railway! It will be lovely to see trains going over the viaduct again 🤞👍
Yes and I'm hoping to commence volunteering again next year as I've been doing that for the last good few years on and off
I remember this quarry working as a child and the one at Coverack bridges, used to watch the masons dressing the granite and the blacksmith working. I volunteer at the railway 40 hrs a week and set up the carpentry and maintenance /fabrication shops. Line you walked is under negotiation at present. Hope to see you next year, health permitting.
@@adrianbew9641 I grew up at mabe so also seen the granite masons working at there trade very skilled men. Trannick quarry worked by the Pascoe family, did they also work this one as well? I see lot of granite was carried by the railway back in the day too!
@Dave.w-ev9qn1962 it's amazing how much you discover when you really scratch the surface
what did the sign say on the footpath???
Stick to the path and I did
@@kernow..exp. ok got you, thanks for the reply
Really enjoyed all your uploads from over the weekend mate. They've been great. I enjoy making model kits as well. So I was happy to see this. Have a good week guys 👍😊👍
He was and looking like the devel himself.great video lovely views.
Not far from where i live, near Lelant.
It sure is lovely part of cornwall for a walk! I’m with you mark on buying that cottage. Definitely not interested. Farmer thought he would turn zennor quoit Into cow shed, till he was stopped. Those drill holes must be hand done. It was Richard Trevithick himself who was engineer at ding dong, his father was mine captain at Tregajorran, where Richard was born. Another great Cornish walk mate!👍
I was almost about right about Richard then thank you Dave
@@kernow..exp. I’m like you on that building. Is it mining or just a house? No idea!🙂
He were very naughty boy.
Indeed he was
He was a complete nutcase.
My favourite way to drive to Hayle, the cottages you go by at around 4mins there was a TV company filming there end of July, went passed a few times to get to the animal rescue place and film crew there each time, no clue what it was for though
mark when did you shoot this video ride???? cafe on the left by the arches i think was open blue skys Enjoyed thanks m8 you passed close to my house after leaving Lidels island Ed
Hi Ed this Saturday I filmed it

Fantastic aerial footage, and as always, it is a pleasure to watch 🙂👍
@@kernowradio cheers m8
Great video spooky.creepy😊
Good watch ⌚ 👌
Thumbs up good job 👏 👍
I tend to forget just how much area Camborne covers, but when I saw the drone footage,it made me realise how huge it is.
Nice camera quality good video
Cheers m8
From the drone footage you realise how big the quarry is, some acres!! See the pampas grass plumes growing in the first quarry, came in by bit of fly tipping I bet. Apart from what stone left there by sea, thousands of ton’s of road stone were hauled away by lorries back in the day. Good watch mate!👍
Thank you Dave
Another great video, mate. I love the variety of things you upload. Loads of cool things to see and discover. You're inspiring me to get out more 👍😊👍
Cheers m8
