One day you could rent an apo telescope to make Kim very small compared to the moon :) I loved the idea to throw sand into the Moon disc, it gave a nice visual effect around it. As always, great videos, visuals, photos.
hi Eric just stumbled on your work and its amazing. my light painting is mostly foreground or a few (a few) selfies with light in hand doing Milky Way mostly in desert SW. but I will be trying your techniques in a month when I'm back at the Wave and later on Pacific coast seashore a couple months later. while your landscapes are awesome, two things I love about your vids; one, you offer alot of technical info and show actual movements and two while others do similar things, Kim's elegance of movement make them a level better than anyone else's. if a three, it's you love your pets which may trump all of them. reason I posted tho is you mention difficulty yelling when far apart out where theres no cell service. solution; get some cheap walkie talkies GMRS? band. they have more than enough range, are good on batteries (bet you use alot anyway) and where you're at noone will on your frequency or overhear your conversations. if you go to like DisneyWorld, grand Canyon etc and carry one you'll hear so much talk and so many different languages you'll be amazed. plus its a safety thing too. you prob dont go into the desert at night armed (I do in Texas or AZ if alone) as theres too many crooks and idiots in this country, much less so in Canada. good luck.
When I shoot with long lenses, I use a inexpensive set of walkie talkies. Either placing one on the subject in their pocket or on the ground nearby for easy communication. THANK YOU for sharing your inspiring work!!!
I believe that most people who view your eye candy images are not aware of how much work goes into and is behind each shot. What you two do is difficult enough already, but adding your own selfie setups to record for us the process that you go through adds another layer of difficulty. And then your masterful editing of the RUclips video that we enjoy is a work of art in and of itself equal to those gorgeous images contained therein. Thanks so much for sharing so much! How many times have you two been to Death Valley for shoots? Do you plan on any return visits? BTW - how lucky not to have the wind kick up during your shoots.
You 2 make the most inspiring videos!! I have been watching your videos for a week maybe and each one is better than the last. The images you capture are nothing short of breathtaking!! I love how you document every step of the way....I have learned so much from your videos! I am totally watching them out of order....had to pause this after the sunset shots to comment. Absolutely stunning. Seriously some of the most beautiful art I have ever seen. How in the hell did you communicate at 800mm when she was jumping or move left or right???? Maybe you explain in the rest of the video which I will now return to. Thank you both sooooo much
ahhhhhhhhhhh thank youuuuuuu ::::::::))) As you can guess, we're having a lot of fun making these videos. For this one, we didn't have any intelligent way to communicate. It was super random, but as we've been working together for so long, we kind of guess.. I think ;) But nowadays, we're using walkie-talkies, as shown in this video (my favorite one) ruclips.net/video/Fhw4D2McdS8/видео.html
Sir, I want to shoot some videos of passing trains with large sun set or moon rise.. Sunrise also.... But after trying for 4 years I am unable to get the sun or moon in my desired place... I am unable to calculate when can I get the moon or sun on the track.... Please teach me sir...
I dont mean to be offtopic but does any of you know of a method to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my account password. I love any tricks you can offer me.
