@@babasheeny3634 yep, still, even that small circle is ready to fall apart, reason being money. I am from a family of attorneys, and I saw the most heinous tricks people did to their family, brothers, sisters etc., for inheritance money. Money is a necessary evil, we need it yet it can bring destruction. Sure it's nice to have it, but jealousy over it can lead to really nasty behavior. I don't mean killing, bc that is usually what I hear from America, in my country there are loads of other things people do. Number one rule is better not to even mention you have any, depending on who you talk to. I saw my own brother, who was always the black sheep, stoop low enough to steal from my parents, not just some money, it were family possessions and paintings of our ancestors, dating back at least 150 years. My parents did not call the police on him, gave him ultimatum instead to buy back the paintings at least. He did only one and some miscellaneous items no one probably wanted to buy, still my parents couldn't call the cops, bc he is their son.
I must say though, I never saw my mom in such an angry state, all the shouting and swearing, but I don't blame her, I was pretty upset too, since he also put me in a very hard position one day, and was a bad brother towards me overall, since I am younger than him.
He eventually got caught by the police bc of multiple loans he took out and never bothered to repay (the very hard position he put me in comes to mind). Was in prison for 3 months only, thanks to his brother and party father, that payed for the rest of his sentence.
With the inflation coming (we're no where near its peak), you can draw that circle... around you. And with the looming war between Russia and Ukraine, the 90s2000s (best time of my life, so much fun and entertainment) are sooo far in the distance.

Liam knew her since the first grade! They were friends! It wasn’t even like they had a falling out with each other and had years of animosity towards one another. She probably trusted him implicitly. She probably thought she could count on him to protect her if anyone had tried to harm her. Instead, she had to look into his face and feel the enormous magnitude of his betrayal as she fought for her life. How truly awful. He had no decency at all. That is certainly the definition of depravity. How could her other friend participate? He was depraved too.

Sometimes I’m glad that I didn’t keep friends over the years and I only have one or two people which I can at least trust enough to tell them about my life except for my bf. Oftentimes I thought I’m weird or a bad person if I didn’t keep the friends I made over the years but honestly I didn’t keep any of them because they didn’t seem trustworthy enough - they were just people who just wanted to have a good time and weren’t there for you truly or people who wanted to use you. Im just saying, especially for the young people out there, it’s cool if you don’t have a lot of friends and it’s cool to cut people out of your life.

I’m the same…as I’ve got older all of my friends from my younger days have dropped away for one reason or another and the friends I make now I’ll cut out pretty quickly if I decide it’s toxic or not in my best interest. I have a theory anyway that we are all inherently alone and when we are younger or insecure we seek friendships for transactional reasons I.e. not feeling like a reject, having a crew to hang with or go out with to seek other status/material related items like sex, relationships, meet celebs etc. friendships are about a need/ want and as I’ve aged I don’t feel that need and I also don’t succumb to feelings of unworthiness or that there is something wrong with me because I don’t have friends anymore. I have my cat, my child, my work, my bf and I’m good with that. 😀

This is proof that there are people who are so soulless and void of morality, compassion, empathy, and remorse that they are no longer a person, but a predator without a conscious. This case breaks my heart. In the confession to his buddy, I believe the guy who actually went to the cops, the murderer mentions that Sarah’s dog just laid there and watched him kill her, because the dog knew him well and didn’t see him as a threat. Then he complained about how long it took him to actually strangle Sarah to death, because he thought killing her would be fast. It makes me sick. I’ve lost two close friends and I would give anything to have them back, then you have monsters like this in the world who take the innocent people they call “friends” for granted and/or worse. RIP Sarah ❤️ nobody deserves that, especially not someone as kind as she seemed to be.

Now he gets to have an exciting life of trying to survive in prison.
