Holy shit I WAS THERE! I never knew this was filmed. Fear Before, Bear Vs. Shark and The Stiletto Formal (?) too. Absolutely historical shows at Chain Reaction back then...
Grinne le Carabistouilleur he hasn't been on their recent shows with them and they've been fairly quiet on social media and whatnot. Im wondering myself.
a couple years ago he had left to take time to address his issues with alcoholism. hes definitely with the band as of late, having worked on the latest album
@@LaurenOwlet don’t be naive and act like singing and playing a guitar isn’t common af, I can list you 100 artists that sing and play instruments at the same time and do it beautifully……
Two years late, but perhaps it's: - The lack of a rhythm guitar making it feel empty and the bass filling in with extra meat. - The actual live audio was fine but someone failed at mixing it for the video.
Such an underrated band! I've always loved this album! Pure genius!
When Thomas was in Chiodos.... that was an insane show!
i freaking love chiodos❤❤❤❤ 😍😍😍😍
For everyone talking shit about his singing. This is probably the hardest 3 piece song to perform live. Give the guy a little slack.
WOW. NIIIIIIICE. Never seen this oldie.
Tim Ward is frying his bass...I can hear clearly...lmao 🤣
that breakdown is always insane

Is that Anthony from smosh
it really does look like him
No obviously it’s jg quintel
The funniest thing is I think there are some old Smosh videos where Anthony is wearing a TFOT t-shirt
Omg that bass sounds 🔥
Can we go back to THIS PLZZZZ
the bass line
I love that intro!
My favorite song by them 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
How did Tim get that bass tone
Amazing how he managed to get the jazz bass to sound like a p-bass. I guess he used some kind of overdrive pedal, probably a Boss Blues Driver.
Sansamp bass driver and fender jazz bass American standard only neck pickup on and tone knob on 12:00
Matt G youre a fucking moron
@@Beavercleaver42069 sansamp, and ampeg svt
In this video, Ampeg SVT-450h through an 8x10 cab. Electro-Harmonix/Sovtek russian green Big Muff. 2003 Fender Jazz bass transparent sunset-orange.
The sound quality is good.

@@charleslarson5983 I believe the situation is that he's still a member of TFOT, but doesn't tour with them because it's too stressful.
Was this 05?
yep
@@JoelMurray that’s a good quality video you got there. Damn good band as well
@@jellymop heck yeah! it’s a rip of a tour DVD I got with an equal vision order at the time, thus the quality haha
@@JoelMurray for real. Gotta love that 2000’s hardcore kid swoop hair.
I can’t lie, the live vocals are not it
Maybe it just needed a better setup
@@Santi-bt7if I hope so, cause I really like these guys

I’ve always wondered how they could play that song live.
Now I know….they can’t.
Greatest math rock of all time, also, somebody tell the bass to lower his volume
TES there are plenty videos of this song where we can't hear Tim, let him have this one :,(
the bass is fine, everything else is too low
@@Faulheit Yea like why are the vocals that quiet? Bass is the most fine out of it all

Fuck that noise. Bass sounds just fine.
You wanna look cool you have a 3 piece band. You wanna sound good live have a 4/5 piece band.
