I made this last night, & it was delicious. Yes, about the seasonings, I used salt, coarse black pepper, lemon black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, & paprika. Don’t forget you put thyme seasoning in the sauce, just a pinch. And the real lemon juice adds a lot of flavor as does the butter. Worth making! I served mine over rice!
Damn how long does it take for the chicken to brown on the side w/ the skin??? I have mine on the the stove, medium heat, 10 min has passed and it’s nowhere near brown

I was panicking as I was cooking which is when I commented but it actually turned out terrific! Just like you said about 20-25 min. 10-12 min on each side. After the 1side, the 2nd side cooks quicker. Ty so much for the tutorial! Ppl like me reeeeally appreciate these! This is now a part of my prep meals this week😁😁😁

So this looks very good, but is there anyway to substitute any of the ingredients to make it a little healthier, like using half and half cream instead or using Olive oil to start cooking the chicken in the beginning instead of butter..
Amazing recipe but I wouldn't of discarded the chicken fat. All that browned goodness got thrown away and replaced with just butter. Chef Ramsay would have an aneurism if he saw that. I almost had an aneurism myself.

It’s fine, it takes around 20-25 min for the chicken to cook so keep turning until both sides get brown and the chicken is completely cooked.
